IT TOOK twenty -four hours before the team found them. While inside the car, first Archon continues to convince Ara to see a doctor.
"Ara is sick?" Salem asked, then checked Ara's temperature. "She doesn't seem to have a fever?!."
"Wala nga akong sakit at hindi ako nababaliw!" Ara exclaimed.
"I didn't say you were crazy, I just wanted you to do therapy—"
"My decision is still not."
"It's an order for the third highest rank position in Agercia ... and it is your obligation to obey my command" Zandro exclaimed threateningly.
"Just follow the first archon, Ara", Than convince her.
Ara did nothing but follow the wishes of the first Archon. She then regretted telling a few details about her personal life.
For her, the camp of the first Archon was still hostile because he was a member of the organization that killed her parents. "I shouldn't have just said anything," she thought. She also notices that often she can no longer control her emotions, the longer it takes she may lose herself.
The doctor is a woman, so she didn't have a hard time dealing with her.
"We're done with the general check-up but I just have a question."
"S-sure... What is it, Doc?"
"You know that I am also a member of Agercia... Am I right?"
"Y-yeah?."
"I was there when you fought to get into this organization... I was impressed because of your strength and fighting skills—"
"What are you pointing at?" Ara cuts to what the Doctor has to say.
The Doctor leaned back in the swivel chair before speaking "There is a dashcam attached to each member of Zandro's team every time they fight... I saw how you fought them... I also saw how you kill your opponents... My question is, what do you feel every time you fight?"
"A-anger" she stuttered "I feel angry every time an innocent person dies ... but it leads to the point that I can no longer control myself. When I am enveloped in rage, that also gives me strength to fight but leads to ruthless killing— the reason why I can't stop myself from thinking that I'm a heartless murderer of these people" she uttered. The doctor sighed deeply, then ended the session.
She is just waiting for the result of her check-up. And just as she expected, the whole team was there, with her waiting for the result.
"You all don't have to be here at all," she said, then looked at every person present in the room.
"We were just worried about you—" ani Salem.
"Me too", Than added.
"W-hat?" Zyl exclaimed as Ara's gaze landed on him. "Zandro says you are a family?, do I have a choice ?!." Ara couldn't help but glare at them.
The doctor came out and brought the result. everyone stood up and wanted to know the result. Ara just frowned "What the hell!" she murmured.
"The result of the general check-up, she just needs to be careful and take vitamins to regain her strength...." The Doctor said.
"That's it?—" ani Zandro.
"Nope," Doctor Jhang said, then she turned her gaze to Ara. "You have Intermittent explosive disorder, Ara."
"What does that mean?" Zandro asked.
"It is a syndrome caused by outbursts of rage, aggression, or violence. This is a type of condition in which you cannot control your emotions. And it makes you a killing machine", Doctor Jhang added.
"K-killing machine?.... T-hat's so mean" Zandro asked, stunned as everyone present fell silent because of what they heard.
"Lord Miller told me what bothered you. And because of what happened, you were diagnosed with an illness that you were not aware of having. In this case, your anger is your enemy."
"What should we do?—" it was Zandro who spoke because Ara was still stunned.
"There is no cure for this condition.... our only choice is therapy... Your strength is impressive, I admit it, but it can also bring you into danger. So you must know how to control your emotions if you don't want to hurt the people around you."
Ara could not speak and did not know what she should feel. "How can I overcome this if my anger is already united in my heart," she thought.
"Don't worry too much", Salem said. "We are here to help you."
"I need to leave—" Ara said, then quickly walked out of the mansion clinic.
"Ara!?—" Salem and Than shouted.
"Don't—" Zyl stopped Salem and Than then prompted Zandro to follow his Sandra. "Go!" Zyl added.
As Ara was walking out of the mansion, she met Thati in the aisle of the second floor. They stared at each other and she could see the fear in Thati's eyes. She slowly walked over and approached Thati, whom she had never spoken to. "You have already left your room—"
"Huwag mo akong lalapitan—" Thati said. Ara was surprised by what she said, "Why? Don't you know that I saved you?"
Thati slowly walked backward until she started running. To her astonishment, she followed Thati.
While Zandro is distracted because of the speed of Ara's disappearance. "Where did she go," he said, then went down the stairs.
While Ara is still chasing Thati until she lands in the basement. She slowly walked into the dark basement. "Where are you?" she said.
She could not see around because of the darkness until someone tried to hurt her. Fortunately, she immediately grabbed her hand holding a knife. She fell to the floor when suddenly someone kicked her. "You die!!" Thati shouted, so she immediately noticed that it was Thati.
"You b***h!! You haven't really lost your memory!!" Ara shouted and quickly rolled to the floor to avoid her knife. She immediately stood up, then quickly ran closer to Thati, then kicked her hard in the back.
Thati fell to the floor and dropped the knife. Ara immediately picked it up and pointed it at Thati's neck. "You are too weak to kill me", she murmured.
Thati was trembling with fear and was unable to move because of Ara's excessive strength "L-let me go—" Thati's plea.
"Why would I do that?!" Ara shouted "You tried to kill me! It looks like you will be my first victim today!" Ara said emphatically and dangerously.
"D-don't kill me, please ?! " Thati begged.
"Why ? no one will know that I killed you... No witnesses, no obstruction."
"You will regret it—" That is still there.
"How!? You are just no one—" she said loudly.
"Don't kill me, Agatha" Thati murmured.
Ara's eyes widened when she called her Agatha. Thati saw that she had a chance. She immediately grabbed the knife held by Ara, then kicked her in the abdomen.
Thati immediately stood up then quickly threw the knife at Ara. Ara caught it but it was too late, it had already stabbed her in the shoulder. She forcefully pulled the knife out of her shoulder and began to feel angry. "I don't want to be angry but you make me angry," Ara said frighteningly.
Ara turned on the light, she saw her body trembling, so she half-smiled, which scared Thati even more. "I got angry badly, you must have been scared." She was now the one holding the knife and she didn't even care if her wound was bleeding.
Thati is slowly stepping back. "Who are you really? Why did you call me Agatha? Isn't that your name?!"
"I h-have nothing to explain to you" Thati stammered.
"You have, so answer my question before I kill you!!."
"W-hy would I say anything if you're just going to kill me too?" ani Thati.
"I'm giving you a chance, your life depends on your answer."
"I have nothing to tell you—" Thati uttered.
"Are you a spy?!" Ara exclaimed.
"Shouldn't I be asking you that? You are a traitor in this house, aren't you?"
Ara was surprised by what I said, so she became even angrier. "Who are you?!!."
"Who are you?!!" Thati asked her back.
Her annoyance and anger grew, she could no longer control herself again, something she now feared. She moved quickly and held Thati's arm tightly until Thati leaned against the wall as Ara's knife pointed at her neck. "Sagutin mo ang sagot ko!!" she shouted in annoyance.
Thati almost held her breath so that Ara's knife wouldn't touch her skin. Ara's eyes were so scary that she could hardly recognize her. "L-let go of me."
"If you don't speak, it's better if I just kill you right now, mukhang marami kang nalalaman tungkol sa akin. You could ruin my plan— " Ara exclaimed. She was about to move the knife when Thati suddenly spoke.
"I'm Bella!!!— so p-lease, d-on't kill me" her voice trembled.
"B-Bella?" Ara murmured and hesitated to believe what she said.
Thati nodded and couldn't help but burst into tears. "Yes, so please, don't hurt me. I'm begging you, don't kill me."
