Eye Opener For A Belleview

"Who the hell do you think you are? Hiring people without consulting me?" he yelled, while I just played on my phone. He snatched it from me and put it on his desk.     "Okay, you have my attention" I said with a hint of sarcasm showing in my voice.     "You think you're smart, huh?" he said, his voice laced with anger.     "Dude, she needed to job, and I just helped her try to-"     "Is she even here legally?" that question made my blood boil.     "You seriously need to stop that s**t! But if it makes you feel better, yes, she is here legally. You have to cut that racist crap now," I replied, and he almost approached me to throw a punch, but held himself back.     "Think what you want" he said, heading to his chair and sitting down while rubbing his temple. My brother needed to stop his racist rants.      "Michael, I am one of the bosses here, and I get to decide who works here too. She was homeless and needed shelter and food," I said, and he looked at me as he laughed.     "So now she is your charity case. Typical Jayden, helping the most unfortunate" I decided to ignore his s**t and picked my phone up and as I was walking out, he stopped me with his next words.     "Make sure you don't regret it and she gets you to marry her, and have hundreds of kids with her"      That got to me and I turned around, approached him and punched him in the face, making him fall from the chair. "You better watch your mouth next time, Michael. I will forget you are my brother and it will be worse"     He stood up, cleaned his blood off his face and his shirt and let out a laugh. "That woman got you wrapped around her fingers, I see. You might lose everything if you pursue her"     "I didn't say anything about pursuing her. And if I do, what's it to you? She is beautiful and humble," I said.     "You just met her, what makes you think she is not going to trap you?"     "Well, that is my problem then" I walked out of the office. I headed to my office and sat on my chair, while I tried to rub my migraine away. Minerva walked in with a hot cup of coffee. She set it down on my desk and walked over to give me a couple of pills.     "You know me so well, Minerva" I said, taking the pills from her hands.     "Well, I figured you were upset. I heard your argument with your brother and every time that happens, your migraine is next" she laughed. I took a deep breath and took a sip of my coffee. My brother was going to kill me one of these days, and I needed to have patience with him.     "I just need my brother to understand his attitude is not the appropriate one for a CEO. We were not born in a golden cradle, Minerva. Mom had to fight to raise us the best way she could after my father left us. If it wasn't because of John who took us in. He is a great father to us"     "Your father is a saint. He loves you both, and he trusts you with the company. Too bad your brother got that position. It should have been you"     "I don't care about the position, I don't want it. I just like to help people. Niray needed me, something was calling me to her"     "Maybe you felt attracted to her"     "That is impossible. I just met her, " I said. A lot of people believe in love at first sight, but I was not sure if that was my case. All I knew is that it feels good to be next to her. I could see her kind soul through her eyes. I dismissed Minerva and went back to my duties. She left the office, and I took the phone to call Minerva's apartment and make sure Niray made it there okay.     "Hello?" she answered and I could feel my heart stop for a minute. I looked like a stupid high school kid with a crush.       "Hello, Niray. I called to make sure you made it okay. Our driver can get distracted sometimes," I said, and heard a soft chuckle coming from her.     "I am fine, Mr. Belleview. Thank you for everything. I can't wait to start working" she said, and a smile escaped my lips. Hearing her voice was so refreshing. With all the stress my brother gives me, it is nice to hear an angelical voice.     "Please, Niray. I told you to call me Jayden"      "You will be one of my bosses. It would be very disrespectful of me," she replied.      "Okay, I will let it slide then. But as we get to know each other better, I want you to get used to calling me by my name, deal?"     "Deal" she sounded very excited. We hung up the phone, and I opened my computer to be met with an email, coming from dad. I read it and quickly went to Michael's office. He was on his computer too, and he didn't seem happy about it.     "Dad wants to do a meeting with the maintenance people. Just what I needed," he said. I took a deep breath.     "What are you going to do? It is clear they hate you and if dad asks them about you, you are done" I replied with a smirk on my face before I walked out again, leaving him with his thoughts. He would learn one way or the other and maybe this meeting will open his eyes. Or not.     "Minerva, gather the maintenance employees in the big meeting hall. Dad is on his way" I ordered her and she quickly made some calls. I went to my office and called my driver to pick up Niray and bring her back here. I called Niray afterwards so she could get ready.      This had to be an eye opener for Michael Belleview.
