KISSERA CLAMPED A HAND over her mouth as a shriek escaped. Outside, Lucifer was engulfed in flame, his body twisted and contorted. Raw screams erupted from him. She'd never seen Lucifer mildly disturbed, much less writhing in pain. Fire surrounded him. A winged creature twisting in the flames bellowed a sorrowful cry. As soon as the display started, it was over. Lucifer was back in his normal form. He wasn't moving. Kissera rushed outside to his side.
