They both drove home silently with no one uttering a word till the got home. They finally got to their apartment and Cassy went straight into her room without thanking Gloria.
She dashed into the bathroom, took her bath and changed her outfit after drying her hair. As she was drying her hair, she remembered the kid that called her a mental patient which infuriated her all over
“That kid with his deep eyes like that of a mixing bowl" she muttered grabbing her hair dryer tighter
She finished drying her hair and left her room to prepare something for herself since that day was a no lecture day for them when she met Gloria eating the Chinese she ordered earlier.
