Chapter 17Tayne didn't see it but he could feel the sun dropping out of the sky. Rummaging through the depths of the wrecked, increasingly waterlogged Voltarice he had only discovered fifteen living people on it. Everyone else so far was dead out of three hundred people. He did his best to not think about it.
“This is command, come in over,” a voice came on the radio from the man behind him. “This is rescue five, what's going on,” he replied. “The vampire is needed back on the command ship, relay the message,” the voice said and Tayne turned around.
“I got the message,” he said and started to walk away.
