With a new deadline in mind, Vance knows that he doesn’t have much time, one week to decide whether he is really ready to settle down, if he is ready to take a chosen luna and if Thea is the one that he wants to take that place.
He feels like he has an in, even though he hates talking about Blake. If he can keep the conversation going, then he can show her what a good man he is and then, hopefully, she can start to focus her attention on him and then her line of questioning will naturally shift to him and then her interest can only grow.
