Olima nervously replied, "No, ma. I've checked the kitchen cupboards and there's no foodstuff there."
Mia frowned as she was hungry. She asked, "Why didn't you talk since in the afternoon?"
Olima stared from Mia to her mother in shock as she was helping Mia to do her assignments from school. Mia was acting nice and friendly with her, but once Mia saw that her mother had arrived home, she would change and start acting rudely like her mother's toxic behavior.
Mrs. Gina sighed, "Hmm, and you sat down here with Mia and watching the television. Didn't you know that you were supposed to come to my shop at the marketplace to ask for money to refill the house with foodstuffs, and the things that you will be needing in preparing our dinners for tonight? Or did you expect us to starve with you this night?"
Mrs. Gina glared at Olima in a cold voice. And Olima fearfully replied, "No, ma."
Mrs. Gina's eyes narrowed at Olima, and she opened her black purse and brought out some stack of new cash notes and counted it first.
She said, "Here's 10,000. Before I should go upstairs to my room and take my bath and return downstairs here, make sure that you've already gone to the market nearby, and purchase all the soup ingredients that you will be needing in preparing the vegetable soup with semolina tonight. Otherwise!"
Mrs. Gina's eyes narrowed at Olima as she dropped the 10,000 on the living room coffee table. She walked upstairs to her bedroom, while Mia went to sit back and resumed watching the television.

Olima quickly rushed into the kitchen, knowing that her stepmother wasn't joking with her threat. She searched the kitchen cupboards for all the containers to know the actual ingredients that remained and the ones she would purchase at the groceries store.
Olima hurriedly left the kitchen and picked up the 10,000 from the living room coffee table. She dashed out of the house, hearing Mia laughing at her because of the way she ran out of the house like a crazy woman under fire.
Nathan hastily rose from the stool beside the gatehouse, as he saw Olima sprinting toward the gate.
Olima held a black polythene bag to her chest, wearing only her light blue gown with her black slippers.
Nathan asked, "Where are you rushing to, small madam?"
Olima screamed, "Open the gates, sir! I don't have time to explain."
Nathan knew that was how Olima usually ran out of the house whenever Mrs. Gina sent her on an errand again. He sighed and pulled the smaller gate open.
Meanwhile, Olima ran out of the house and rushed into the estate road like a mad woman.
A red car almost knocked Olima down at the speed that she used to run out.
The red car was driving toward the estate gate before Olima ran into the road as well.
Luckily, the red car driver dodged her and cussed, "Hey! Stupid lady! Watch where you're rushing to next time!"
Olima ignored the driver of the red car as she continued running ahead to exit the estate gate. She was oblivious of whomever was staring at her, as her mind was to get to the gate and grocery store on time.
In the sleek red car, a young man named Justin Robert sat in the rear seat. He was dark-skinned, 21 years old, and the only child of his parents. His parents wanted him to take over their multimillion-dollar construction company and real estate.
Justin's father, Mr. Emerson Robert, was the sole owner of the estate. He sold the houses to other top-notch billionaires in their state.
It was a peaceful residential estate, housing over 100 similar white houses.
Justin's heart skipped a beat when he saw the young lady run out into the road. And his car had almost knocked her down.
*She is the one,* his subconscious mind reminded him of her. His eyes lit up as he saw her again.
Justin had been admiring this young lady after seeing her several times running along the way on the estate road. He had been looking for a way to ask her out on a date, but he didn't have the confidence to do that.
Justin saw that was the particular house she was living in. However, something caught his attention and piqued his interest. She seemed like a maid, but her skin was so beautiful and enchanting him, making a part of him become hard and aroused.
Justin had been wondering which building this beautiful young lady lived with her family. Was she a maid or an heiress? He looked at her with desire as his red car drove past her.
Justin was aware that only billionaires lived in this estate called the Emerson Housing Estate.
The sunset and the moon rose above the sky, as Justin's red car drove past Olima, heading for the gate.
He was going to one of his finest hangout places, the clubhouse.
Justin disliked business-related topics and didn't seem to find anything business interesting. Except for his drawing of pretty women, watching of action movies, and hanging out with different pretty ladies, and those desiring to sleep with him, and to pleasure him as hot as he wanted it.
Justin felt his member harden when he saw Olima again. He didn't know her name, but he was determined to speak with her.
He saw how she ran carelessly, sprinting toward the estate gate and how her boobs and behind bounced with invitation with her fast running upward towards the exit gate. She didn't care who was observing her, and Justin couldn't just look away and pass.
"Stop the car," Justin ordered his driver, Jesse Andrew, to stop. Even as Jesse had driven the red car past her for a while.
Jesse was taken aback when Justin ordered him to stop. "Is anything the matter, boss?" Jesse asked with concern laced in his voice. But Justin repeated, "Just pull to the side."
"Okay, boss," Jesse replied. He was Justin's personal driver and bodyguard. He wore a white dress shirt and black slacks and black shoes. He was a 30-year-old man, but he respected his boss.
Justin, on the other hand, wore a red dress shirt and black trousers and polished black shoes. He looked extremely handsome, as he took care of his looks, knowing that first impression matters.
Justin was eager to speak with Olima today. He opened his car door and waited for her to approach, as he continued to gaze at her.
Olima stopped running when she saw the red car had stopped.
*Why did the car stop? Did the driver want to scold me?* She wondered, but remembering her stepmother's warning, she started running again to run past the car.
However, the side door of the car unlocked, and a tall man wearing a red shirt and black trousers and shoes got out of the car.
"Hi," the man said to her, and Olima's heart almost jumped out of her chest, as she didn't know this man.
*Who is he? What does he want from me?* Olima wondered, but she immediately ran past the man as she became scared.
"No, please... Excuse me," she muttered and swiftly dodged the man as he looked like a pervert, and she feared he might want to kidnap her.
"Wait!" Justin called after Olima, as he only wanted to speak with her and introduce himself to her. But she ran away from him like he was a beast.
"Damn it!" Justin growled as he saw the beautiful young lady run out of the estate gate.
*I will get to see her again or visit her father's house,* he concluded and got back into his red car.
Jesse Andrew smiled from the driver's seat, as he saw how Olima ran past Justin. He didn't know who the young lady was, but he could tell that his young boss had fallen for her beauty.
"Start the car, Jesse. We are still heading to the club," Justin ordered with a cold voice. His mood soured as he became irritated with the pretty young lady's rejection.

Olima's heart was still beating loudly in her chest after she escaped the gate and the man who had stopped her. She got a taxi and went to the grocery store to purchase all the soup ingredients that she would need to prepare the delicious vegetable soup.
"I could have just waited to hear him out. But what did he want from me?" Olima's pretty face blushed as she still felt the man had wanted to ask her out. She felt guilty for not waiting to hear him out, but not when her stepmother and stepsister were waiting for her at home.
As she completed her purchase, Olima quickly cleared the bill and walked out of the grocery store to find another taxi to take her home. She knew that she forgot to ask her mother for money in the morning because she was begging for her university admission form. And also, in the afternoon, she got carried away, helping Mia to do her mathematics assignment from school.
Olima knew that her stepmother sold women's wear at the market. She stood by the roadside and waited for a taxi to arrive and take her home.
