We both just laughed and kept talking on the way to work. We never ran out of things to talk about. She told me how Tara is working on un-binding her powers so she can start to learn magic. So far, they haven’t been able to do it but they both think it’s just a matter of days before they break through. Kali’s mom is not helping because she doesn’t want Kali to have her powers in fear of her getting hurt. Kali understood where she was coming from, but Tara was pissed and said Kali’s mom has become weak since meeting her husband and that her ignorance was going to get Kali hurt. Anyway, Kali is simply happy she knows the truth.
