“Hey Anasa, are you feeling ok.” Tara asked while I was trying to prepare the food for today.
“No, I couldn’t sleep too well. I’ve been up since three AM.”
“I know why she can’t sleep…” Kali tried to butt in
“Oh, shut it nothing happened we just talked.” I turned around and told her while she unsuccessfully tried to sneak some food.
“We… you mean you and Qwame?” Tara asked trying to clarify you Kali and I were talking about.
“Yea he came over and we talked but after he left, I just couldn’t sleep.”
“Ok well go home and see if you can get some rest.”
