A few minutes later, Grayson walked up the steps to Xavier’s two-story home setting on twenty acres of land. Grayson had no idea what his brother needed with that much land, unless it was just for privacy. But in the spring Xavier usually started working on the grounds between engagements for the realm, and by summer every inch of it was manicured with flower gardens dispersed over the land. Although Xavier had a gardener for upkeep, he did most of the designing himself.
