The ride home is quiet and strained. If Erik doesn’t accept his wolf, the consequences will be severe, and I am not going to lose my son all over again. Pulling up to the driveway, he jumps off the back of the truck, walking into the house and slamming the door behind him.
“Let him go, Fiona, he needs time to cool off first.” Matt grabs me by my arm when I want to run after him. Nightmare takes over and growls for him to let me go. “I’m sorry, this time I’m not letting go Nightmare. He needs time, not your kind of tough love!”
“I hate you!” She growls at him and follows Erik into the house, slamming the front door behind her.
Walking straight to Erik’s room, we hear him tossing stuff around his room. His wolf might be a flake, but sure as hell sounds like Nightmare. Maybe Matt is
