Layla was half asleep in the bay window of the library when she heard the door squeak open. She assumed it was Jax’s little sisters as they often came to hang out with her when they got home from practice, so she didn’t bother to open her eyes and look. She rolled and stretched in the warm sunlight of the huge window.
