Cora’s POV
“I am going to go change my clothes in the women’s room, Cora, I will be back shortly,” Catherine tells me.
“I really didn’t want to go in there”, Ava said, as we could hear Collin and his mom in the office, they both had raised voices and, frankly, it was a little stressful. My parents don’t yell, and I don’t like to be yelled at. I mean who likes to be yelled at?
“I am sure it will be OK. May I call you Ava? Or would you prefer Ms. Lauder?” I asked her.
“Ava is fine. I meant to ask you where you got that dress. It is stunning on you?” Ava tells me.
