Collins POV
I hate I missed getting to see Cora, I wanted to tell mom and dad that we were seeing each other. But she left because Michael got there first, and she wasn’t comfortable seeing him and his new little family. I could understand that. Michael was pretty upset when he found out that she had left, exiting outside the kitchen door in an effort to keep from causing him problems with Sadie. The guilt was all over his face, and we didn’t know that Cora was going to be there in the first place. I was just going to meet up with her after her hair appointment tonight at her parents’ house. When Ava said that Cora was there, I got really excited, until I couldn’t find her anywhere and we realized that she had left the house to keep the peace.
