These words consumed my sleep. Even though I know I did sleep, it felt as though I hadn’t. My bed was cold and empty. Akino was whining about Rayne and Nix. She had us under her spell, and it was a strong one. Rayne was able to convince both Akino and I of her being our legitimate mate.
It made me angry, and Akino was getting out of control. Instead of being angry with her for lying to us, he was pissed at me. Talking reason to him was futile. I resorted to ignoring him and his temper tantrums.
