I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my suit coat. I had showered and shaved and was ready for the last alpha meeting so I could go home. My wolf and heart were still broken over being rejected by Daisy, but I tried to move on. It was hard because Denali was in love with her, and so was I.
The last few days, I would see her walking around the palace, and she is just the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She doesn’t even really walk. She floats like a dream. I have seen how she treats the omegas and guards that work in the palace. She is so kind to them and seems to know most of their names. She is everything I want in a Luna, but of course, fate had to slap me with bad luck. Daisy didn’t want me. She wanted her ugly vampire hybrid freak.
