Chapter 3

Sectionals | Emily's POV

I walk into the choir room after changing my clothes together with Sam. We accidentaly met in the hallways so we decided to walk together to the choir room.

"A new couple alert people!" Finn shouts and laughs as we get in.

The others just chuckle and grins at me and Sam except for Puck of course who is look like mad at me. Seriously I dont understand this.

"If I tell my dad that you and Sam are dating, he wont let him to stay in our house. But I wont tell because you guys are cute together." Kurt grins at me and Sam.

Sam and I just look at each other and giggle at them. It must be that one of my brother saw Sam and I were cuddling last night. Oh hell no.

"Congratulations, dude." Finn grins at Sam. "I saw you both were cuddling on the couch in living room last night and I cant hold it to tell them that you both are dating." Finn giggles.

Finn Hudson. If you werent my brother, I might be already kill you right now because you spread the rumors that you dont know it was true or not.

"Well, yes we are dating." Sam grins and put his hand around my shoulder.

"Hold up, she is still my girlfriend." Puck frowns.

"But when I back to Kentucky, Emily told me that you both broke up, right babe?" Sam asks me.

"I'm sorry, Puck. You choose a milf over me and I'm dating Sam, now." I said to Puck.

"Hello, Will." Ms. Corcoran and her Troubletones are standing on our choir room door.

"Looking good, ladies!" Mr. Schue grins at them.

"We just came to say, may the best glee club win." Ms. Corcoran says to us.

"Yes, and just in case that glee club is us, I have convinced Miss Corcoran to consider a contingency plan." Santana grins.

"Yes, in the event of a New Directions! loss, Trouble Tones has voted to allow any of you to join us at Regionals." Ms. Corcoran grins at us.

"You're welcome." Sugar says.

"Excuse me? That's incredibly rude, Santana." Finn frowns.

"We're being nice. It would be rude if I followed you around and every time you took a step, I played a note on a tuba." Santana says to Finn.

"Thank you for the offer, Miss Corcoran, but right now, we're gonna concentrate on winning this thing." Mr. Schue says.

"And we will be winning, Shelby. We've got it in the bag. Puck here is going to come through for us. He's such a shining star, in every conceivable way. Don't you think?" Quinn grins at Ms. Corcoran.

"Good luck, everybody. See you on the ice." Ms. Corcoran says to us then walks off with The Troubletones.

She look pissed off when Quinn mentioned Puck's name. And I hate this now because it seems like Quinn is defending Puck and I make my big chance to lose him again. Oh God.

"Alright guys. Show circle." Mr. Schue says to us. We walk closer to each other and make a circle. "Just forget about what Ms. Corcoran said. Even though New Directions lose our best singer we still have our own magic and we can win because we are one. Now in three."

We then went out from the choir room together. I take Sam's hand to walk behind them and little bit more slow than them.

"I guess Finn saw that we were cuddling last night. I'm so sorry. You were trying to comfort me but it turns to be like this." I said in whisper.

"It's okay. You see how Puck look at us? He is really jealous. I guess he will trying to do everything to get you back as long as he wont punch me." Sam says to me.

"He wont. Well since we are kind of 'thing' because my brother spread the secret so I guess that we have to make a rule." I turn my face at him.

"What rules?" Sam raises his eyebrows.

"You are not allowed to kiss me. Well, if you really have to kiss me in public is just a quick kiss on lips, no tongue, no biting lips, nothing." I said to Sam.

"You mean that we can have a make out when they are not arround them? Alright." Sam smirks at me and trying to block my way and make me lean my back against the wall.

"What the hell, trouty mouth? You want me to scream out loud?" I frown at him.

"Haha just kidding. You're funny when you're freak out." Sam laughs.

"Arent you guys supposed to be in the auditorium?" Mercedes and Santana walk to us.

"Yes, we are going to auditorium. It's just Sam little bit nasty." I giggle.

"Come on, babe." Sam shows me his hand.

I take his hand then turn my face at Mercedes and Santana. "Good luck you guys." I smile at them and walk off with Sam. Left them standing with a frown. "You have to pay because I can count how much you call me 'babe'." I said in whisper at Sam.

"Well, Emily. We are dating now. Your job is to make Mercedes jealous and my job is to make Puck jealous. Deal with it." Sam whisper back.

"This is stupid." I roll my eyes.

"But this is fine. Listen I will be a good fake boyfriend to you okay. So dont worry with that." Sam says to me.

"Okay. I trust you as long as you wont touch my precious thing or anything." I nodded at him.

Sam just smiles at me until he pushes his face closer to me and about to kiss me but I stop him.

"Ugh fine." I sigh.

He just grin then pushes his face closer to me and kisses me softly right Mercedes and Santana walks into the auditorium.

"Ewww get a room, you two." Santana frowns at us.

"I'm sorry, cant handle it. Emily is so beautiful tonight." Sam giggles and takes my hand and walks lead me.

"You die after this! I will burn your head, stripper!" I glare at Sam.

"Just deal with it." Sam simply said until we got to the New Directions seat.

"All the way from Defiance, Ohio, the Unitards!"

The curtains lifts up and The Unitards come out from the stage. They singing Buenos Aires from Evita and it's kinda little bit cool I think.

"We will get through this." Finn shows his fist and tossing with Sam's fist.

The Unitards ends their performance. Next one is the performance by The Troubletones. I turn my face at the others and I see Quinn left the stage in hurry so I better I follow her to avoid to something.

I left my seat and walk off from the stage to follow her until I found her walk in the hallways alone.

"Where are you going to?" I ask her.

"I'm going to the auditorium." Quinn simply said.

"I saw you went out from the auditorium." I frown at her.

"Well, I'm going to tell principal Figgins about what Shelby and Puck done. So I can reclaim Beth and then New Directions will win the sectionals." Quinn says.

"Are you insane? You want to tell this to principal Figgins? I know you want your daughter back but this is not the way how you do that. You report them which mean that you hurt your daughter. Puck and Shelby are not young anymore. Puck is 18th and that's illegal." I said to her.

"You dont realized that she slept with your boyfriend? How stupid are you? You should hate her not defended her like this." Quinn frowns at me.

"You know what? I'd rather to hate you than her. Because if you report this which mean that you will make Puck get into trouble. You will make someone you love get into a trouble. I love Puck and I wont let anyone else hurt him include you. Besides that if Shelby knows what she has done is wrong she will tell the truth to principal Figgins not like this. You just a teenage mother who doesnt even know how to love your daughter. Grow up, Quinn. You are not sixteen anymore. You will graduate and stop doing something that can hurt yourself and your daughter." I said to her then walk off.

I cant believe if Quinn do that which mean that she will let Puck get into the trouble. And I wont ever let that happen. I know that Puck and I might not be together anymore but I just want him to be happy and I will fight to get him back.

"Coming up from William McKinley High School performing for the first time, The Troubletones."

I go back to sit down on my seat and watching the Troubletones performs. They perform a mash-up song from I Will Survive and Survivor.

"Where have you been?" Sam asks me.

"Finished a problem that I should done." I simply said.

Sam just nodded and turn his face back to the stage and he looking at Mercedes who performs on the stage. Until they finish their song with full of cheering and applauding from the audience.

We then left our seat and walk to the backstage to have our performance because after this is our performance and I'm kinda excited about that.

"Also from William McKinley High School, the New Directions!"

The curtains lifts up and we are ready to sing. Santana, Mercedes and Brittany are leaving and moving to The Troubletones and Rachel got suspended because of last senior class president so there are only me, Tina, and Quinn the girls of New Directions.

We ended up our performance with full of clapping and cheering from the audience. And we start hugging at each other until I turn my face and Quinn is walking to Puck and hug him.

I should be the one who hug him not her. I keep looking at them and I really want to slap Quinn's face. I really wanna cry but I hold it. If Puck knows the truth that I was the one who defended him not her.

Sam suddenly takes my hand and hold it really tight. Yeah everytime I want to cry, I always hold my hand to hide it and avoid this.

The curtains fall down and we run happily from the stage to the choir room. Actually I'm not really happy with this because I really hate myself right now. I hate myself because I did this in order to get Puck back.

"We did it! Even without those divas and we still can survive." Blaine says happily.

"Yeay we did it." Sam shouts.

"Can I talk with both of you?" Mr. Chang suddenly walks in and turn his face at Tina and Mike.

Mike ans Tina walk off from the choir room. I just sit down in front of a seat and looking at Puck and Quinn that flirt each other. Ugh I hate this. I know that she is the mother of his daughter but I dont like to see this.

"Guys the winner announcement!" Finn says from the door in choir room.

I just let out a sigh and then went out from the choir room to go back to the stage and get our trophy.

New Directions is standing on the left side and The Troubletones are standing on the right side and The Unitards in the middle of us.

"This is the time that we are waiting for. Only one team who will go to the regionals. On the third place goes to..... The Unitards!" The judges give the trophy to the Unitards.

"And the team who will join regionals is New Directions! Which mean that The Troubletones came on the second place!!!"

We got the biggest trophy and we made it. I look at the Troubletones and they look pissed off. New Directions still have their reputation and we still have our magic with or without those divas.
