  Then Zari heaved a deep breath before she looked intently at Demetrio.

“I knew you were my beloved way before you came here last night.”She said, and then Demetrio was about to speak but Zari stopped him.

“The dreams you were seeing; the ones that I am in it, they were not dreams but memories.”

  Demetrio furrowed his eyebrows confused as to what the princess meant with her words.

“What do you mean memories? I would’ve recognized if they are memories, don’t you think?”He asked.

“It’s really hard to explain, but they are indeed memories. They were not visions because I know for a fact that you are not a seer.”Zari said.

  Then Demetrio let out a humourless laugh.

“I don’t know what you are on, but what you are saying is really unbelievable. If those dreams were memories I would’ve remembered it happen, but I don’t. And I didn’t get into any accidents that could’ve caused me amnesia.”He said.

  Zari stared at her mate and then she let out a sigh.

“We’ve met before in the past; way before all of this, even before the current Queen was conceived. Exactly three weeks before the eclipse or the former Queen’s birthday, it was a whole three weeks that was filled with revelations.” Zari paused and then she leaned back on the couch.

“For example, a castle servant was caught betraying the throne when she was secretly working with your father to kill the Queen. Olivia was her name, and she was in cahoots with your father, using a secret passage in the wine cellar to smuggle in the assassins. There is also Lord Amadeus and Lady Imelda who plotted to overthrow the Queen by using slayers controlled by a fat ass criminal named Payak whom Lady Imelda gave s****l favours. Oh and Lord Horatio, no one knows but he preferred the company of men instead of women.” She added.

  Lord Demetrio looked at Zari with wide surprised look on his eyes. Indeed the things she said happened in the past and not everyone, especially the new generation knew about it. Even Lord Horatio’s sexuality has been a big secret.  

“How did you know all of that?”Demetrio asked.

“I was there and witnessed all of that.”Zari answered, and once again Demetrio let out a humourless laugh.

“That’s impossible. Even the Queen, your grandmother didn’t know that because she wasn’t there.”Demetrio said.

  Zari arched her eyebrow. For a moment there, she saw a glimpse of the Demetrio she knew.

“Lord Demetrio, are you familiar with the concept of time travelling?”She asked and then the vampire Lord looked at her, as his face turned serious.

“Time travelling is a very sensitive subject, your highness. It was almost forbidden, because do ing so can alter the timeline, messing up the events and the people’s memo –“

  Lord Demetrio stop mid-sentence as he finally realized something. He looked at Zari with wide eyes.

“What you think right now is correct. My cousins and I went back in time to prevent the former Queen from being killed by a witch to ensure our bloodline will continue. We met in the past just because we went there. And your mind is pretty messed up right now because we met in a time we weren’t supposed to meet.”Zari explained.

  Demetrio felt as though a bucket of old water was poured down on him. Hearing that he has met his beloved before is such a surprise. So the vision he saw wherein he was kissing her was all true; it did happen.

“So... We did kiss?”

  What Demetrio asks caught Zari off guard. Her face turned red and her mouth gaped like fish. Seeing her reaction made Demetrio grin.

“So it happened, and I wasn’t just imagining things.” He said, still looking at Zari’s reddened face.

  A few moments passed and there was utter silence between them. Then Zari looked away and cleared her throat.

“Are you perhaps still in love with my great grandmother?” She asked.

  Now it was Demetrio’s turn to be taken back by his beloved’s question.

“That was one of the reasons why I never accepted the bond.”Zari said and then she looked down at her hands.

“And also... Because I am also paired with your brother, Davorin.” She added and hearing what she just said, Demetrio shot up from his seat.

“What?” He blurted and Zari looked up to him and stands up.

“You heard me Lord Demetrio. You and your brother are both my beloved. Now I know it’s cruel to dump everything at one go, but I was advised to tell you the truth. So I did, so it’s just like reaping off a band aid.”Zari said, and then Demetrio scoffed.

“Reaping off a band aid? You just compared our situation in to some petty band aid?!” Demetrio exclaimed.

“Would you prefer I stabbed you in the back?”She asked nonchalantly, and Demetrio scoffed.

“If I learned something during my stay in the past, is it’s better to tell the truth than to lie.”Zari paused and then she walked around the coffee table and stand just in front of Demetrio.

“Do you have any idea how much pain I went through that time? I had to stop myself from giving into what I feel for you and your brother because I knew once we go home; there is no guarantee that I’d be seeing you again!”Zari exclaimed, and then she harshly poked his chest with her index finger.

“You have no idea how painful it was for me to watch you and your brother almost died when you were poisoned by your father’s blood! You have no idea how hard it is for me to send you two away, while still unconscious! I didn’t get to properly say goodbye!” Zari hissed as her tears began to roll down her cheeks while she grabs his shirt.

“If you feel troubled by everything I told you right now, imagine what I felt going through all that.”She sneered and then she lets go of him and she wiped her face.

“I will contact you once I made a plan with the Elites, so we can schedule our visit to your territory.”Zari said and the she took a step back from Demetrio and began to walk towards the door. 

  But before Zari could really get to the door, she was yanked back and she was surprised when Demetrio’s soft, warm lips touched hers. His arm went around her back while his other still held unto her arm. Demetrio didn’t hold back and just kissed her. His attraction towards her just grew tenfold after conversation. And when he didn’t feel her push him back or anything, he took the courage to gently push her against the wall. He continued to kiss her and pull her closer to him.

  And as he kisses her, images of him kissing her at different occasions flashed through her mind. And now that he knew they were memories; moments with his beloved that really happened, he cannot help but kissed her harder.

  Feeling his kisses become hard and full of need, Zari felt Andromeda howl in joy as Aeliana took a step back. Having her mate caged her in his arms; Andromeda couldn’t help but take over and immediately snaked her arms around his neck and kissed Demetrio back.

  Their kiss lasted for a few minutes before Demetrio finally able to pull his lips away from hers. When he looked at his beloved, he was amazed to see her eye color changed. One was icy blue while the other was ruby red.

  Demetrio cupped her cheek and just stares at her face.

“My beautiful beloved...”He whispered and then he kissed her again.

  Meanwhile just outside the Alpha’s office, Alex was sparring with Beta Rick. The poor Beta doesn’t know what to do just to keep up with the prince as he was getting beaten up. The prince was clearly pissed at something as he looked like he could kill anyone, and the closest to the prince at the moment was him.   

  When Beta Rick finally had the chance to leap away, he raised both his arms to surrender.

“I give up your highness. Anymore sparring with you and this pack won’t have a Beta when the Alpha and Luna comes back.”Rick said.

  Hearing the Beta, Alex let out a frustrated sigh and run his fingers through his wet hair.

“I’m sorry Beta Rick. I am just really pissed at the moment.”Alex said.

“Figures, but may I ask why?”Rick asked, still keeping a safe distance from Alex.

“What will you do if you can hear everyone else’s thoughts? I’m sure you can get used to it and would learn to tone it down.”Alex paused and then his face hardened.

“But what will you do when all of a sudden you hear your daughter’s mate’s thoughts while making out with your daughter?!”Alex snarled and his demonic energy suddenly burst out of his body, crashing the ground he was stepping on.

  Seeing such thing happen, Beta Rick was extremely terrified that he fell on his ass.

“Even after a century has passed, she is still my little girl! My first born! She will always be the child that I held in my hands, and now some dude comes and started making out with her! My little girl!”Alex growled as his eyes turned black.   

  When his demonic aura intensified, everyone around started to panic. Then people from inside the pack house started running out, and that includes Zab. Seeing her mate that way, she knew something must’ve upsets him.

  Zab sighed and approaches Alex. She grabbed into his arm and in an instant he calmed down.

“What’s wrong? What made you so upset that you almost destroy the pack grounds?”Zab asked and then as if Alex woke up from a trance, he began looking around.

  The ground he was standing on was cracked and the grass was burnt. Alex let out a frustrated sigh and then his eyes fell on his daughter and the vampire Duke who just came out of the house. Alex narrowed his eyes on her daughter’s swollen lips, and then he glared at Demetrio.

  Without any word, he stormed towards Zari and Demetrio and he surprised everyone when he grabbed Demetrio by his throat and then he threw him towards a huge tree.

“Dad!”Zari exclaimed, shocked of what her father just did.

  Zab was also surprised of what his mate just did.

“Alex!”

  Demetrio coughed up as he got up from where he crashed. Alex dashed towards him and Zari run towards him before her father could get to him first.

“Dad, stop.”Zari said sternly, and Alex stopped right in front of his daughter.

“Step away from him Zarina.”Alex snarled.

  Zari frowned.

“Dad, why are you doing this?”She asked.

  And before Alex could answer his daughter, Zab stepped in and just as she glared at Demetrio.

“Making out with your mate when your father is just outside, enough to hear his thoughts; no wonder your father went batshit crazy.” Zab said and Zari’s eyes widened, horrified of what her mother just heard.

  Alex growled, and Zari couldn’t help but groan.

“Can we talk about this later? It’s kind of embarrassing to discuss my lovelife outside with the whole pack listening.”Zari said.

  Alex calmed down as he looked around. Indeed pack members are around them, looking and listening at them.

“Fine. You come with me.”Alex snapped and the he grabbed Demetrio’s collar and dragged him towards inside the pack house. Zari and Zab had no choice but to watch their retreating back.

“You better have a good speech to save your beloved’s life from your father.”Zab said and then she followed her mate inside the house.

  Zari was left there; couldn’t help but mentally kick herself for giving into her emotions that she has forgotten that her parents might be eavesdropping. Then Zander approached his sister.

“I can tell that you and Demetrio are starting to reconnect.”Zander said.

“Shut up.”Zari hissed and then she jogged towards inside the pack house.

  Zander chuckled and jogged after his sister.
