Chapter 9: Palawan

It's been a week since that happened. Hindi namin pinagusapan pa. What's the use? Hindi niya pa din naman ako naalala. Maybe he's just attracted to me that night. You know, boys will be boys.
He called me yesterday to let me know na may trip kami to Palawan. I thought it was a business trip, but he told me we'll attend a wedding of his cousin. Hindi ko nga maintindihan kung bakit kailangan ko sumama and I was suprised too that he has a cousin here.
Does that mean he's not Dane?
I want to ask him about you know the things we've done, the world we really came from pero natatakot ako baka isipin niya ang weird ng pinagsasabi ko.
My phone was ringing so I answered it immediately. Grabe! Ang dami ng missed calls? Kakatapos ko lang mag ayos ng sarili ko, hindi ko napansin na naka-mute pala ang phone ko.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Where the hell are you? Nandito na 'ko sa airport."
Ang aga naman? he told me our flight is at 5pm and it's only 3pm! Hindi naman siguro siya atat umalis 'no? Hindi ako nag dala ng madaming gamit since he told me we'll be staying for 3 days and 2 nights only.
Pag dating ko sa airport ay hinanap ko kaagad kung nasaan siya. He's not that hard to find because I almost memorize every angle of his body. Of course, sa tagal ko ba naman siya nakikita.
He's wearing white shirt and faded jeans. He look more hot when he dresses casual.
"Sir!" I shouted and catching my breath.
"Tagal mo." He said, nakakunot pa ang noo.
He started walking kaya naman sinundan ko siya. Hindi ko naman kasi alam kung saan kami dideretso.
Tinignan ko ang isang private plane na nasa harapan namin. Oh of course, private plane. c'mon what do I expect from a famous and successful CEO?
This is my first time riding a private plane. Pag pasok namin sa loob mas maganda ito kumpara sa nasakyan kong mga normal na eroplano lang. Of course it's more spacey.
I sat on the single couch and look at the window. I'm not afraid of flying anymore, obviously. Humiga ako pero hindi ko alam kung paano i-adjust yung upuan.
"The hell are you doing?" He asked.
"Humihiga?"
"Adjust the seat, stupid."
I pouted. Eh hindi ko nga alam kung paano i-adjust eh. Edi wag na lang ako humiga-
Bumuntong hininga siya at tumayo. He fixed my chair and turned it to a long one. He's so close to me since I'm still at the chair. Sir excuse me, maybe I can leave first then you fix the chair?
He looked at me in the eye. Is he going to kiss me again?

He fastened my seatbelt. Okay let's breath now, Cleo. Napapunas ako ng pawis sabay talikod sa kanya.

Hindi na ako natulog. Humiga lang ako at minsan tumitingin sa bintana. Besides, we're about to land.
Wow! Ang ganda ng paligid!
We landed safely, tinawag ako ni Troy kaya madali kong inayos ang gamit ko. Hindi ko pa alam kung resort or hotel ang tutuluyan namin. Anything is fine with me as long as I'm safe and the room is clean.
We stopped in front of a resort. Ang ganda dito! Bumaba ako dala dala ang bag ko at ang driver naman ang nag dala ng maleta namin.
"You will be staying beside my cottage." He said and gave me the key.
The cottage looks like a hut but like a modern version one. It looks good. Of course, his cottage is bigger than mine. Aanhin ko naman ang malaking cottage eh magisa lang naman ako.
"Sleep. Maaga tayo aalis bukas." He said.
I thought the wedding will be at 5pm? Maybe we'll shop some clothes. Meron naman akong dala dito, but maybe if I find something more beautiful then bibilhin ko nalang din.
I lay down lazily on my bed. I stared at the ceiling.
Lately I'm not thinking about Dane anymore, I'm now thinking about Troy. The new him. Maybe they really are different persons?

The next day I woke up early, naisipan ko mag lakad lakad sa tabing dagat. I'm wearing a white loose dress. Hinayaan ko lang ang buhok ko at sinalubong ang hangin na binibigay ng dagat. This is so relaxing.
If only I could work in a resort or in some provinces with this nature ay doon nalang ako. I'm wearing earphones, listening to chill musics.
Maaga na ako lagi nagigising ngayon, maybe because I got used to it.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" I apologized when I accidentally hit someone. Hindi ko sinasadya.
Tinanggal ko ang earphones ko at nag sorry ulit sa kanya. He smiled at me.
"Ayos lang miss,"
"Sorry talaga hindi kita nakita,"I said.
"It's fine. I wasn't hurt anyway." he said, he's holding a drink buti nalang hindi 'yon natapon.
"You look familiar."
Me? Tinignan ko siya. Hindi ko naman siya kilala and he doesn't look familiar either.
"You're the vocalist of the Black Dragons before? And the one who sang at their mini concert?" He asked.
He's a fan? Weh?
"I'm Chester, Kaibigan ko si Zeus." He said.
Really? Zeus has a friend beside us? I mean okay, I'm kidding hindi naman impossible 'yon. I'ver never seen him before, eh lagi naman namin kasi kasama si Zeus.
"Really?"I said.
"Yeah, uh we became friends in Iloilo." He said.
Tumango ako. Well they visited a lot of places in here.It's nice that they're making friends and also gaining a lot of fans.
"By the way, can you sing for a wedding? mamayang 7 sana on the party." He said.
Wedding?
"Does the wedding somehow related to the Villanuevas?"
"Yes! How did you know?"
Really? Sabagay isang kasal lang naman siguro ang naka-schedule ngayon araw. It's fine if I sing on the wedding party, siguro? Well he's the one who offered me i'm just doing a favor.
"It's my boss's cousin's wedding."
"Really? What a small world! So ano? Payag ka?"
"Yeah sure! May banda ba?"
"Yup! We hired one. Gusto ko nga sana ang black dragons, but their schedule is full."
Really? Sayang naman edi sana nandito sila ngayon and they would meet the new Dane. Pero mas okay na siguro na hindi nila alam. I don't know how will I explain to them that he's not Dane, cause obviously they're carbon copy.
"Okay then," I said and smiled.
"See you! May kailangan pa akong asikasuhin."
Tumango ako at umalis na siya. I started walking back to my cottage. Baka gising na si Troy at hinahanap na ako. Hinahanap para umalis, wag feeler.
Tinignan ko ang cottage niya na sarado pa din. Maybe he's still sleeping. My eyes widened when I saw my cottage door opened.
"You should lock the doors next timebefore leaving."
Lumaki ang mata ko ng makita si Troy na nakaupo couch. Why did he go inside without my permission? My undies are lurking around the room.
"Hey!" I shouted when he looked at my undies.
Natatawa siyang tumayo at umupo sa kama ko. Agad akong tumakbo at pinagtatanggal yung mga gamit.
"Stop invading my privacy." Inis kong sabi.
"I'm sleepy kaya hindi ko na naayos ang gamit ko," I said when he looked at me like I'm not a neat person.
"Really?" Pilyo niyang sabi.
I pouted. I can feel my cheeks are heating up and anytime it would explode. He's wearing a white shirt and a black sweatpants. Napalunok ako at tinapon ang mga gamit sa cabinet.
"Why are you even here?"
"I'm here to wake you up, but I guess you woke up earlier than me." He said and finally stood up.
"Get ready. We're leaving in an hour.
