Chapter 1: Moving out

After what happened... everything went different from what I expected. No one knows where Dane is. I tried so hard to find him, but there are no traces or any signs of him.
Mom wanted me to at least do my job as a princess para maging busy ako, but I refused. Hindi yun sapat para makalimutan ko siya. Every inch of the castle reminded me of him. Of course, siya ang laging kasama ko. So I decided to go back to the mortal world and work like a normal person. At least doon, mas konti ang memories namin.
Balak ko din isama na sila Zeus since it's been almost 5 years nung umalis sila dito. I'm sure may naghahanap din sa kanila. Ayaw ko din silang iwan doon dahil hindi ko na sila mababantayan.
They agreed, since ang pinunta naman nila doon ay dahil sa'kin. Nauna na nga sila kahapon eh.
"Aalis ka na ba talaga?" Bubblebee asked helping me pack my things.
Tumango ako at ngumiti ng malungkot. I will surely miss them, but I had to do this. For myself.
"It's okay, I can go back anytime. Hindi nga lang lagi 'cause I want to avoid it as much as I can." I said to cheer him up.
He still looks sad. Inangat niya ang ulo niya at lumaki ang mata niya na parang may naisip siyang ideya.
"Sumama kaya ako sa'yo?" He asked.
I sighed and let him sit on my lap. That's not possible. Puwede kung parehas sila ni David pero kung si David ang dadalhin ko I don't think mom will let him.
David's job is to protect me, so kapag nandiyan siya at may sumubok na hawakan ako or gawing masama sa'kin he will kill him/her immediately.
"You can't. If anyone sees you there, matatakot sila at baka saktan ka nila."
Bubblebee is small, and he also flies. Pag nakita siya doon baka pag experimentuhan lang siya ng mga tao.
"but I won't hurt them?"
"Yes, I know. Pero hindi nila alam yun." He sighed.
"Cleo, take care okay?" Mom said carrying my clothes from the closet.
She's tearing up. Pati tuloy ako naiiyak sa mga reaksyon nila. Hindi ko naman sila iiwan eh, I'll just leave to have a life and forget I whatever happened in the past.
"Visit us, okay?"Dad said. I smiled and nodded. Of course I will.
Nakapagpaalam na ako kila Bridgette kahapon, kaya sila Bubblebee nalang ang nandito.
Josh, Damon and my brother helped me find Dane. Magkakasama kami lagi so we're now close. Josh was there trying to persuade me again, pero si Damon ang pumipigil.
Ayoko pa din naman eh. I know Josh is just concerned and want me to forget Dane, pero hindi ganun kadali 'yun. I don't want to cover my broken heart with a new love. I still need some time.
Araw-araw ko tinatanong kung nasaan na kaya si Dane? Iniisip niya kaya ako? Or maybe he found someone who he really love?
Dane is strong enough. He can escape if he wants too, but I don't want to overthink. Maybe the one who kidnapped him was stronger. Whoever that person is, I will find him and kill him.
"I'll visit you there."Kuya said and kissed me on my forehead. Tumango ako at ngumiti.
Kuya made a portal in front of us. Dahan dahan akong pumasok hawak ang aking gamit. Gusto ko man sila lingunin pero ayoko, baka bumalik lang ako.

"Teka lang po! Teka lang!"Sigaw ko sa sasakyan na busina ng busina.
Hindi naman ako nainform na yung portal ay nasa gitna ng highway! Mom said she know someone here and She owns the biggest hotel here in the Philippines.
What the hell! Wala akong pera! How can I possibly find the Hotel? Ano maglalakad ako? That's too risky. Mom told me the name of the hotel, but my shithead forget the name. Alam ko lang nag start siya sa V.
"Hi madame! Saan po kayo?" The driver of the taxi asked.
"Ano po yung pangalan ng malalaking hotel dito?"
"Ah, meron pong Villanueva, Lesterio, at Valasote-"
"Ayun! Dun po tayo manong. Sa Valasote Hotel."
How would I pay him? Ewan ko din, I just need to find the hotel first. I will seek help sa kakilala ni mama. Buong byahe inaalala ko kung pano ko siya babayaran.
"Nandito na po tayo."
Lumabas kaagad ako at hinintay na maibaba lahat ng gamit ko. I ran inside as I carry my Luggages.
"Teka lang po miss!"Sigaw niya.
I'm sorry kuya! Wala akong pera. Everyone's chasing me, pati na din yung guard. Oh my God, Cleo what are you doing?
"Anong nangyayari dito?"
"Miss hindi kasi ako binayaran nito eh, sasakay sakay pa wala naman palang pang bayad."Inis na sabi ni manong.
Where the hell is that friend? Corner na ko. I can't escape. This woman in front of me seems to be one of the official person here in the hotel.
"What's your name, Miss?"The woman asked.
"C-Cleo, Cleopatra Belvoir."
Her mouth widened. Kakilala ba 'to ni mama? She take out the blue bill from her pocket and gave it to the driver.
"Take this and keep the change. Sorry sa abala."
Tuwang tuwa naman yung driver. Hindi na ako nakisali dahil kasalanan ko din naman, he deserves that money.

May mga nagdala ng gamit ko kaya sinundan ko nalang siya. She opened the door and my jaw dropped. Sobrang laki! This is not a hotel room, this is a penthouse!
Nagpasalamat ako at iniwan niya na ako sa kwarto. I lay down in bed and remembered my problems again. I can't stay in one place, hindi pwedeng nakahiga lang ako.
Napapagod na ako mag isip. Bukas na ako maghahanap ng trabaho, I'm so tired. Ipipikit ko palang sana ang mata ko pero biglang may kumatok sa pintuan.
I opened the door and...
"Welcome Cleo!"Sabay sabay nilang sabi.
May hawak pa silang mga balloons at party essentials. Natawa ako dahil naka party cap pa sila, wala namang may birthday eh.
Niyakap ko sila lahat. Tears fall down to my cheeks as I felt their warmth. How I wish kayakap ko si Dane ngayon.
"Hala umiyak? We're here to make you laugh, not to make you sad."Sabi ni Gabby.
Ngumiti ako at pinunsan ang luha ko. Zeus gave me a tissue to wipe my tears. I'm Glad I have them. Hindi naman yata nagtaka sila tita, They said they're going abroad 5 years ago for a contract at pinaniwalaan naman nila tita 'yun.
"Sobrang unexpected pero, ang daming naghahanap sa'tin."Kuya Daniel said.
"Really?"
"Yes! At may gig tayo sa sabado! agad!"
I smiled. Hindi na ako pwede sumama sa kanila, I'm getting old and I need to focus more on other job. I can still join them, pero hindi na siguro lagi.
"Why?"John asked when he saw the sadness in my face.
"Uh... mag tatrabaho na kasi ako."I said.
"You can still come with us, kung kailan ka free. We respect your decision."Kuya daniel said.
I guess I'll start a new life by my own.
