Chapter 6: First Day

"Cleo? Cleo!"
Nilingon ko ang mga tumawag sa'kin. My eyes widened and I immediately stood up to welcome them.
"Diba sila yung kabanda mo? The black dragons?"Tanong ni Daryl.
"Oo."
Buti naalala niya sila Zeus, well we're pretty famous back then.
"Wow! Anong role ni Cleo?" Sam asked.
"I'm the Vocalist." I said.
"Really? Sample naman diyan!"
Tumawa ako. He was silent a while ago and this hyped him up. I hope these guys are doing well with their career, I'm sure they are. They got the talent and the attitude.
"Sama kayo?" Zeus asked.
"Ha? Saan?"
"May mini concert kami mamaya." Sabi ni kuya Daniel.
Oh my God! I told you! Dati pa-gig gig lang kami ngayon may pa-mini concert na sila. I'm so proud of them. Passion talaga nila ang tumugtog, gusto ko man sumama but I don't want to be famous anymore.
"Busy ka ba Cleo? Be our vocalist tonight." Gabby said and smiled at me.
"Oo ba!"
They cheered. Pumalakpak din si Sam at Daryl. I guess they're watching. They're fun to be with.

Now I'm getting excited. Ang tagal ko ng hindi kumakanta sa harap ng madaming tao. I stopped singing after what happened at the wedding. Para kasing nawalan na ako ng gana sa lahat, but now I think I have the energy and potential to finally sing again.
"Diyan muna kayo ah?"Paalam ko kay Sam at Daryl na nakaupo sa pinakaharapan, where the seats are reserved for VIP's.
Humanap ako ng gitara sa paligid at nag antay na bigyan nila ako. Napansin yata ni Zeus kaya nilapitan niya ako.
"Kami na bahala sa instruments, Kumanta ka nalang."Sabi ni Zeus.
"Ito na ang pinahihintay niyong lahat!"The host shouted.
Everyone in the crowd is cheering. Balita ko madaming fans ang nag hanap sa banda namin, and it went viral on the internet when they got back. Of course wala ako non.
"Let's welcome... The Black Dragons!"
Lumabas kami at lalong lumakas ang sigaw ng mga fans. Nagulat ako ng may mga sumisigaw din ng pangalan ko.
"We miss you Cleo!" They shouted.
Ngumiti ako, They remember me? I can't believe it! I waved at them and the intro started.
"This is brick by boring brick by paramore."
They screamed at the top of their lungs.
"She lives in a fairy tale, somewhere too far for us to find. Forgotten the taste and smell of a world that she's left behind."
Sumigaw sila at sinabayan ako sa pag kanta. I smiled. I miss this feeling. I closed my eyes as I give my all. I feel like I traveled back in time.
"It's all about the exposure the lens I told her the angles were all wrong, now she's ripping wings off of butterflies."
"Keep your feet on the ground, When your head's in the clouds..."
I removed the mic from the stand and jump as I get into the chorus.
"Well, go get your shovel and we'll dig a deep hole. To bury the Castle, bury the castle."

"Pa ra pa pa ra pa pa ra!" Ngayon ay sumasabay na sila sa pagkanta ko
"Cleo! Cleo! Cleo!" They shouted.
I'm so moved. They still know me. Akala ko hindi na nila ako makikilala since matagal na 'yon, and I left the band first. Wala din ako nung comeback performance nila.
"Thank you guys!" I said after finishing the whole song and bow at them.
We sang different songs. Nagpalit din kami ng damit pati backgrounds. Everything went well. I'm so happy.
We thanked everyone who watched the mini concert and did a group hug. We still have to meet the VIP who payed just to see us backstage.
Ang lakas ng loob ko mag puyat ng maaga ang trabaho kinabukasan. Kadamay ko naman si Sam. Pero duh? Under trial pa lang pala ako!
Kinabukasan maaga ako nagising. My eyes are still closing as I get ready. Naayos ko na ang gagamitin ko kagabi kaya hindi ko na kailangan pumili ng damit.
"Goodluck to your first day,"
Nilingon ko si Sam na kasunod ko lang pala. Bakit nung chineer up niya 'ko lalo akong kinabahan? Oh my God!
"Are you nervous?"
"Bakit? Does it show?" I asked.
I'm very nervous.Yung kahapon biglaan kasi yun pero ngayon I'll be seeing him in purpose. Be professional Cleo. Dapat hindi kabahan. Dapat maging excited at productive. We can do this!
"Una na ako." Sam said.
Tumango ako bilang tugon dahil halos walang lumabas sa bibig ko.
I panicked when the elevator tings. I took a deep breath and finally walk towards Dane's office-I should avoid calling him Dane. He's Troy.
"You're late."
Huh? 8 o'clock hindi ba? It's only 7:30! Hindi ako gumising ng umaga para lang malate.
"I'm here at 7:00 sharp so you should be here by 6:30. You should be here before your boss arrives."He said.
"I'm sorry, I won't be late again tomorrow." I said.
He stared at me coldly and continue what he's doing on his table. Yumuko ako at lumabas. I'll make a coffee for him. I hope this time I won't fail making a coffee. May napanood ako sa youtube at nag search pa ako.
"Coffee niyo po." I said and put it on the side of his table.
Sinigurado ko na hindi niya masasagi 'yon. He didn't even look at me. He's busy typing on his laptop then signing the papers on his desk.
"Have a copy of my schedule. I-Organize mo ng maayos."
Tumango ako at tinanggap ang binigay niyang schedule. I have my own office, sa loob din ng office niya pero may glass partition.

Ang dami ko ng binigay na kape sa kanya and he finishes it all. Masama ang uminom ng madaming kape. I should make a tea for him instead?
Baka hindi siya makatulog mamayang gabi kapag binigyan ko pa siya ng isang kape.
"Sir ayaw niyo po ba muna magpahinga?" I asked.
He didn't even bother looking at me. Ni hindi ko nga alam kung naririnig niya ako eh.
His phone rang. Binaba niya ang hawak niya at napahawak sa sentido ng makita ang caller. Who was it?
"What do you need?" He asked.
"Let's not fool ourselves, Lovely." Sabi niya.
Who is Lovely? Inis niyang binaba ang call at bumuntong hininga. Ilang minuto pa lang simula nung call na 'yon may tumawag nanaman sa kanya.
