Michael's POV The vest had completed its job and made everyone that came into contact with me believe I was dead. It even had moondrop believing I was gone. I could hear her talking to me and crying. I could hear everything she was saying but I couldn't move or make a sound to let her know that I wasn't dead. The paralytic that had been sent into my system when the bullet hit my fake chest and caused me to bleed out made it to where a heartbeat was undetectable. It also meant that until the guys got here to administer the antidote I was stuck in this position unable to let her know not to cry. It was killing me not to be able to scoop her up in my arms and tell her everything was going to be ok. But what is this she's saying about a baby? Keeping them safe? Am I hearing her right?
