I was glaring at David. He averted his gaze and continued to drink his liquor. Everyone was celebrating the engagement but me.
"I want to leave now," I demanded. David sucked in a breath.
"I know you're mad about the surprise engagement," he said. He didn't f*****g know just how upset I was. I was f*****g pissed. I could hit him right now. I couldn't believe David did this to me. He tricked me!
