5am comes awfully early, especially when you've been up most of the night replaying the events from the night before over and over in your mind. I twisted my head towards my phone and groaned as the alarm pounded into my ears and threatened to take the headache I was nursing from a dull throb to a full-blown roar. I swiped my finger across the screen to snooze the screaming banshee and shoved my face in my pillow for another nine minutes of silent bliss. "Oh my Lord, ok already," I moaned as the alarm shrieked again. I sat up and turned off the alert and looked at the clock on my bedside table. 5:10am.
