Alpha Kael's POV I was in my room, cracking my fingers in frustration. Soraya's words still echoed in my mind, needling at my patience. Everything was a mess. The more I tried to push thoughts of Kaida out of my head, the more they clawed their way back in, fueled by the hatred I felt towards her. I let out a loud growl of frustration, pacing the room. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw the full moon rising in the sky, a blur of pale blue light. It was time. Time to mark Criseda as my Luna.
