Finally An Interview

The following week went by like a burr and thank goodness for that, I'm glad today is Thursday. This whole week has been exhausting for me, even Tina has been extremely busy at work.
The hours at the restaurant had been crazy since we were down on staff, and two other employees had to pick up the extra hours which meant most days we were doing doubles.
All I want to do on my day off is sleep, hopefully, Tina doesn't bother me about going to the club tomorrow night because that would be a big fat no.
When I clocked out of my shift, I was grateful that Tom was too busy to even try to flirt with me, all week he had been too busy to flirt with any of the female staff.
Once I got home, the first thing I did was run a steamy bubble bath, I needed a deep soak. While the tub was filling up with hot water, I went to the kitchen to prepare some tea.
"Hello Sophia, I missed you all week", Tina said. "It was very busy at the restaurant, how was your week? I asked her. "It was busy as well, I think this weekend I'm just gonna stay at home and relax", she said.
The water started to boil and I put the tea bag in the cup and then poured the hot water. Tina had a cup of tea as well, I let her know I was about to take a bath and she was gonna do the same.
I drank my tea as I sat in the bathtub unwinding and relaxing my sore muscles. When I was all done I didn't even bother to eat, I went straight to bed and dosed off once my head hit my pillow.
The next morning I woke up early, I cleared off and straightened up my bed after I stretched out my limbs. Going into the bathroom from my morning routine, I brushed my teeth and washed my face.
Once I had completed my routine in the bathroom, I put on my jogging gear and headed to the kitchen to prepare some tea.
As I was making my tea, Tina stepped outside her bedroom. "Good morning Sophia, you're up pretty early", she announced. "I'm getting ready to go out for my morning jog in the park", I told her.
I also made Tina a cup of tea and we sat down at the idea to chat before I had to leave out. I informed her that the unknown number started to call me again and that it was more likely it was Quinton trying to reach out.
After finishing our cup of tea, I told Tina I would see her later and then I grabbed my things and headed out the house towards the park.
Once I walked through the main entrance, I spotted Eric on the first bench with one of his feet on the seat as he was tying his shoes.
I could help by smiling when he noticed me approaching him. "Good morning beautiful, are 6ou ready for your run?", he stated.
I immediately felt butterflies when Eric called me beautiful, and my cheeks were getting hot. "Good morning Eric and yes I'm ready", I said.
We were running side by side throughout our entire one-hour run, not chatting but just enjoying the run. When we finally finished we took a seat on a nearby bench.
As we were catching our breath, a cart selling sorbet was rolling passed us. "Sophia, would you like to join me in having some sorbet? he asked. I replied by telling him I would love to.
We enjoyed our sorbet and when we were done, we said we would see each other on Sunday then parted ways.
Once I got back home, I took a quick shower and joined Tina on the couch. While she was selecting a movie for us to watch I took this time to check my emails for any jobs that might have responded to me.
Scrolling through all my emails several jobs got back to me, either rejected my application or wanted me to do the second step of the application process which was an interview.
This is perfect, three jobs want me to come in for an interview, I scheduled one for Monday late afternoon and the other two for next Friday. Hopefully one of the jobs I will get and finally be able to get my life straight.
I got off my phone and told Tina the great news, she wished me good luck and prayed that I would land one of the three jobs.
Tina finally selected a movie for us to watch, as we relaxed and ordered some chinese food to enjoy the rest of our day together.
