Why was Karen here at Eric's family dinner, who invited her, and why? I could tell that Eric was surprised by Karen's appearance here as well. He ignored it for now to greet and introduce me to his grandparents.
"Hello grande and papa, this is my beautiful Sophia," Eric said to them. From the corner of my eye, I could see Karen have a smug look on her face at how Eric introduced me.
