Dax stood off to the side watching Duke and Mattie. Their voices were too low for him to hear what they were saying. Seeing Duke flirt with Mattie sent his blood boiling. If Duke didn’t watch himself, he would take care of him one way or another. Anyone who got between him and Mattie would face his wrath.
