GRACE
It was hard saying goodbye to Erika and leaving my old, tiny apartment. It has been my home for so many years, and I am going to miss it. It holds so many memories. I struggled, but beautiful things happened to me here, particularly the night I spent with Ulric. I will never forget that even if it were the last time we would see each other.
Erika gave me a tight hug and kept reminding me to eat right and take breaks at my new job.
"Put your feet up from time to time and make sure you take a walk in the afternoon. Your legs and feet will be swollen soon. Your baby bump is getting big," she said sweetly to me while we were walking towards Victor's car.
