Chapter 25: Dinner

Faith's POV

Me and my parents were now standing outside the house that was filled with horrible memories of my past. My brothers couldn't attend as they had work to go to, so it was only us 3 attending. The door then opened with Kate and Dave welcoming us inside. "Thank you for coming....it's been long since we have had dinner together" Kate said with a smile as she hugged my mom. Atlas then walked from behind his parents and greeted my parents. His eyes then locked with me as he gave me a happy smile, happy that I was at his house. I looked at his attire and was impressed with the way he was dressed. His hair was combed neatly, slight curled at the top making him look handsome. He was wearing a black suit looking ever so smart but I just ignored his smile and hugged Kate as we both kiss each other's cheeks. "Come in, gosh I'm so happy today" Kate squealed causing everyone to chuckle. 

My parents stepped inside with me behind them. I was about to take one step into the house but froze as flashes of the past flashed in front of my eyes. Voices echoed in to my ears as I stepped back out of the house. "YOU ARE THE f*****g REASON BEHIND EVERYTHING GOING WRONG.....YOU ARE A f*****g MISTAKE IN MY LIFE.....YOU f*****g BITCH.....YOU f*****g MURDERER.....I f*****g HATE YOU FAITH ABDELLA......I f*****g HATE YOU" 

"I love my wife and will only love her, the love I once had for you died long ago. You are nothing to me, nothing. You are only trash in my eyes"

"I hate you. You are a w***e, a manipulating b***h, get out of my face and stay away from my wife"

'Slap' (The image of Atlas slapping her flashes in front of her eyes)

"Faith....Fai dear" someone shook me bringing me out of her thoughts. "Huh" I said realising that Kate was calling me. "Are you okay my dear?....you look quite pale" my mother cupped my cheeks. I gulped and glanced at Atlas who was looking at me with pain. He knew what I was thinking about as his eyes filled with unshed tears. "Um...yeah...I'm fine...I'm fine" I whispered and gave everyone a fake smile. They all gave me a sympathetic look and told me to come in. I took a deep breath and finally entered hell. 

"Momma.....Momma" a little voice shouted out as I heard small footsteps run towards me hugging my legs. I looked down and saw the cutest little baby boy who was giving me a wide smile showing all of his teeth. I kept my face blank and bent down, reaching his level. I ruffled his hair making him giggle. "How are you doing little man?.." I asked. He suddenly wrapped his arms around my neck and whispered cutely in my ear "Thank You Momma" kissing my cheek. My heart filled with warmth with his innocent kiss. Still keeping my face blank, "Your welcome kiddo" I said patting his head and stood up. I saw that everyone's eyes were on me and Leo and how everyone was look at us with awe. 

We then started to follow Kate to the table, while Leo refused to take his hand out of mine. I sat down at my seat with Leo beside me. He kept looking at me with a cute face. He then opened up his arms wanting me to pick him up. "Leo, baby Momma needs to eat and she can't eat if she has you in her arms" Atlas explained to him as he kissed his cheek. Leo then started to tear up as looked down folding his arms in anger. My lips starts to move upwards slightly wanting to chuckle but luckily I controlled it. "It's okay...I'll feed him while he is in my lap" I said making the kiddo smile at me. I picked him up and placed him on my lap. 

The chair next to me then screeched as a person sat next to me. My body went stiff knowing who was sitting next to me. I mentally cursed at myself for putting Leo in my lap instead of keeping him on the chair. I ignored him and started to eat while feeding Leo. Atlas was helping Leo drink his juice while I was feeding him while eating myself. "Look how adorable the 3 look. They look like a happy family, oh how I wish this became true" I heard a whisper from Kate making me freeze. 

I gritted my teeth in anger as these people still haven't let go of the idea of wanting me and Atlas together. I controlled my anger throughout the dinner, trying to ignore the gaze of the person sitting next to me. After dinner we all went into the living room and the others started to catch up with each other. I badly wanted to get out of this place but my parents wanted to stay longer. Leo was now playing with my hair while I sat there zoning in and out of the elders talks. "Thank you for coming here, it means a lot for Leo and.......me" Atlas whispered after a pause. 

"I didn't come for you" I stated calmly. "I know" he said in a sad tone. "but still thank you for coming. I know it must have been hard for you especially since mom was forcing you so...thanks" he spoke. "I know you hate Leo-", "I don't hate him....he is an innocent child who is paying for his parents sins and mistakes" I hissed quietly making him look down in regret, "but neither do I love him. He has no fault in this, so why would I hate him. I may be emotionless Mr Williams but I'm not heartless." I told him in a cold tone. 

"and also Mr Williams, stop feeding your child lies. It's not good to lie to a child at a young age because when he grows up and finds out the truth he will end up hating you. So stop feeding him lies that I'm his mother, because I swear down he will end up getting hurt once he grows up" I explained now looking at him. He stared at me and started to lean closer making me look at him in shock and confusion. I gulped when I felt his breath over my lips, our noses touching each other. "I understand but you my badass angel will always be his mother" he whispered, moving back away from me. 

I blinked once, twice feeling hot all of a sudden. I quickly glanced towards my family and sighed in relief when I saw them still talking to each other. "Momma" Leo called out cupping my cheeks. "Yes kiddo" I said looking at him with Atlas sitting next to me. "Papa" he called Atlas out. "Yes baby" Atlas said pinching his chubby cheeks. "Momma so bwitiful (beautiful)" he said causing Atlas to chuckle. He looked at me and said "yes...indeed she is beautiful....so beautiful" he slowed down at the end as he continued gazing at me. I quickly looked away from him clenching my teeth. 

After 30 minutes Leo fell asleep in my arms making me sigh. "I'll take him upstairs to his room" Atlas offered. I gave him a nod and gently placed Leo in his arms but Leo wouldn't let go of my neck. Atlas silently chuckled "he is too attached with you" he whispered not wanting to wake him up. "I'll take him to his bed, where is it?" I asked him. "Come...I'll take you there" he offered. "No, I already know my way around...which bedroom?" I demanded. He sighed "the room next to mom and dad's" he said to which I nodded.

I stood up from the sofa and started climbing the stairs. I opened the door to Leo's bedroom and gently laid him in his bed. I slowly unwrapped his arms from my neck as he stirred a bit. "I wuv (love) you momma" he whispered in his sleep, his words touching my cold heart. I covered him in his blankets and sat beside him. I moved his hair from his eyes and kissed his forehead. "Goodnight" I whispered and walked out of his room, closing his door gently. 

I then started making my way down until I stopped at a certain door. Images flashed in front of my eyes as I remembered what happened in this room. I walked towards it and turned the handle but found out it was locked. I stepped back and stared at the door as I drowned back into my past. 

"I locked that door as it gave me nightmares" a voice snapped me out of my thoughts making me jump in surprise. He walked closer to me and stood in front of me. "Since you left this house that door has never been opened" he said. "Why?" I asked with a blank face, knowing what his answer would be. "I feel disgusted when I enter that room. That was the same room where me and Mel-" he stopped talking as he looked away in regret and guilt. "I don't understand Mr Williams, she was your wife, what's so disgusting with having s*x with your own wife?" I mocked. 

"The answer is that the person was not you, that's why I feel disgusted" he said with a shaky voice. "Well, whose fault was that?" I scoffed rolling my eyes. "Every...everyone deserves a second chance, I know I don't deserve to ask this but why won't you give me another chance. I know somewhere in your heart you still love me I-".

"You are right-" I cut him off, causing his eyes to light up, "You are right....I do still love you because love doesn't just go like that but....but my love for you right now isn't as strong as it was back then. I don't have the same passionate love for you anymore because you killed that feeling" I let everything out making me feel a lot lighter. 

"I'm not ready to give up on you yet Fai.....I can't let you go and you know that" he walked closer to me making me stiff. I started to walk backwards until I hit a wall. "I wasn't ready to give up on you then and neither now. Yes when I found out Melissa was pregnant I thought of letting you go but only for Leo but now I would never let that happen" he whispered now placing his hands on either side of me. I moved my head to the side as his nose touched my cheek. 

"So my badass angel, get this thing out of your cute little head that I will move on from you because I will never allow that and also that friend of yours.....warn him to stay away from you....because-" he leaned in closer causing me to breath heavily "Your mine" he whispered kissing my cheek. I closed my eyes clutching onto my dress. I felt disgusted with myself for getting affected by his touch. Why?....why right now?. 

I gritted my teeth and moved my head to face him but instantly regretted it as our faces were now so close to each other, noses touching each other that if I moved anymore further then we would be kissing by now. He trailed his finger from my forehead to my jaw all the way down to my chest but before he could touch me I pushed him harshly. 

"Don't ever touch me" I glared at him while he just smirked. "My touch.....it still affects you" he stared at me with so much emotion. "No it does not. You were just making me nervous. Don't you ever come close to me again" I warned him. He walked towards me again. "You can't stop me from coming close to you....get ready to come back to me....to your family. Welcome back Mrs Williams" he stated making my eyes widen. 

'Mrs Willaims?...is he mad?'

I scoffed and rolled my eyes and shook my head, giving him a disgusted look. His face softened as he stood in one place "Don't look at me like that love....it hurts" he said with a sad tone. 

'Bi-polar much'

"Stop wasting your time Mr Williams" I stated with a cold voice. He was going to respond until my phone rang. I took my phone out of my pocket and held it in front of me looking at the user's name not even realising that Atlas was now looking at my screen. His jaw clenched in anger when he saw Dario's name on my phone. 

I was going to attend the call until he snatched it out of my hands attending the call himself. "What the f**k, give me back my phone right now" I demanded but he moved away ignoring me. "Listen well Mr Rizzo Faith is mine....I don't want anyone getting hurt so I'm warning you...stay away from my future wife or else I will be forced to remove you out of her life forever" he ordered with his menacing voice. I grabbed his arm and turned him around giving him the meanest glare ever.

I snatched the phone out of his hand and quickly looked at it. I gritted my teeth when I saw that Dario had ended the call. "WHAT THE f**k IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" I shouted at him. He continued to glare at me with a clenched jaw. I just stared at him with disbelief while he continued glaring at me in silence. 'What the hell is wrong with this i***t?'.

"FAITH...COME DOWN...WE ARE GOING HOME NOW" my mom called from downstairs. Atlas then walked towards me and kissed my forehead, allowing his lips to linger on for a few seconds until he let go. "I'm sorry for everything my angel, I regret hurting you, cheating on you, raising my hand on you, I regret every f*****g thing but I will do everything for you to give me a second chance, I won't let you go because I am selfish. Thank you for coming and good night. I love you so much" he whispered in my ear and left the room in a flash while I stood there frozen breathing heavily, my heart racing so fast.

"What on earth just happened?"
