Chapter 35: A repeat of the past

Atlas's POV

Finally I was back in London, the city I was born in and the city where I met my love, my badass angel. Oh how much I missed her while I was in Italy. Not a day went past without remembering her, she was the only one on my mind. I even had to talk to her photo at nights to be able to sleep but now I am finally back. I wanted to just embrace my Faith tightly in my arms where she belongs and never let her go. 'Would she be happy to see me?', I asked myself. 'I doubt it', I thought as the answer hurt me. If the company wasn't so busy then I would have taken Fai with me and if she refused I would have forced her to go with me but knowing how important our new project is to her, I couldn't force her to come with me to Italy as she was needed here. 

I also missed my son a lot. I've never stayed away from Leo for so long. Everyday he would face time me, crying for me to come back. I chuckle at his cuteness. I asked him what he would like me to bring for him and his answer was to bring his mama to him, my Faith. It's been a few days since Faith hasn't met Leo and since then he has been upset. I don't like seeing my son upset, so I promised him that when I come back I will take him to Faith's house. I don't care what Faith says but I will be bringing my son over to her house tonight. No matter what but to him she is his mama, meaning she is my future wife. 

I always dreamt for the day where Faith will accept me again, say the 3 words and kiss me like she would when we were young. I dreamt and prayed for the day where she would wear her white wedding dress, while her dad walked her up to the Altar. I prayed and imagined the day where she would say the words 'I do' and kiss me with those cherry plump lips. I mentally smiled at that thought but I knew I was dreaming way to high. I had a lot of work to do to make her forgive me as I, myself was ashamed of my actions towards her. 

As I was driving I noticed a Flower shop at the corner of the road. I parked my car at the side of the road and started to walk towards the flower shop. I wanted to surprise my angel with a bunch of flowers but I didn't know which flowers to buy her as she really didn't have an interest in them. 

"Hi...how can I help you sir?" a young lady asked me with a small smile. "Um....I'm actually looking for some flowers for someone special" I replied to her. "May I ask who this someone special is?, maybe I can help you out" she asked in a polite manner. "It's for my future wife" I said with a smile. "Awww....I have the perfect flowers for that" she said with excitement. 

"Red Tulips" she said with a wide smile. "These flowers are a declaration of love. Tulips are flowers of Perfect Love but these red tulips ae most strongly associated with true love, as they carry their own significance, while White tulips are used to send a message of forgiveness" she said as she brought the flowers to me. I smiled at her words, these flowers totally fit in with my feelings. I have strong desire and love for my Faith but I feel regret and shame for I did to her hence wanting her forgiveness. "Can I please have the red and white tulips together?" I asked while she gave me a confused look when I mentioned the white flowers. "Of course" she said and began to wrap the flowers. 

I looked around the shop to see if I liked anything else until my eyes froze on a cute, white teddy bear with a love heart in the middle saying 'I LOVE YOU'. 

I picked the teddy bear up and brought it to the counter. "I also want to buy this" I said to the lady who was done packing the flowers. "Of course...that would be in total £25.00" she said. I paid her and walked out with a bunch of flowers and a cute teddy bear. I really hope she likes these.

With excitement and happiness I drove home to meet my son so that I could take him over to Fai's tonight to surprise her. I just hope she is in a happy mood. I was dying to see a glimpse of her angelic face. 

"Leo" I shouted out and immediately I heard tiny footsteps running towards me. I bent down and opened my arms hugging the tiny form who rushed into my embrace. "Papa" he said while hugging me tightly. "I missed you my baby" I whispered kissing his cheek. "I wiss you too Papa" he said back making me smile. He then started to search for someone behind me making me frown in confusion. "Who are you looking for Leo?" I asked him in confusion. "Mama?" he asked with slight tears in his eyes. My face softened when I saw his tears. "Shhhh baby....you want to meet mama?" I asked him and immediately his eyes lit up as he furiously nodded his head. "Then let's get ready to meet your Mama" I said as I lifted him up in his arms, taking him to his room to get ready. 

"Atlas" my mom called me as I entered Leo's room. I let Leo run into his room while I stayed behind for my mum to talk. "Yes mum" I said. "Son you're back" she said giving me a hug. "How was your trip?" my dad asked me. "It was good but tiring, glad I am back" I said with a smile. My parents looked at each other with an unknown face making me confused. "Atlas, your father and I are going over to the Abdella's for dinner tonight" my mum said with a worried look, something I didn't understand. "That's great mum because I am coming too".  I replied making them look at me with wide fearful eyes. 

"N-no....I mean you just came back from a long trip and you must be tired. I-it won't be a good idea to go over at their house" she said nervously. "Nonsense mum, you know where-ever Faith is, I will also be there and also Leo is dying to meet her, so you can go first and me and Leo will come later. I want to give her a surprise" I smiled. 

"NO!" my mum shouted making me frown. She cleared her throat and touched my arm, "I mean no, it wouldn't be a good idea Atlas. Whenever you both meet, it doesn't end well" she tried to persuade me but failed. "I don't care mum, how else will I be able to win her back. That woman is the love of my life, I'm not going to give up on her. You and dad go, me and Leo will be behind you" I reassured her. 

"We just don't want you to get hurt" my dad said with sad eyes. "Don't worry dad, you two go, we'll be right behind you" I said and went into Leo's room. I chuckled when I saw him trying to wear his clothes. "Look how fast you are growing" I pinched his chubby cheeks. I raised my eyes brows in amusement when seeing his choice of clothes. He sure wants to look good for his mama.

After getting myself and Leo dressed, I picked him up and sat him in the car behind, wrapping him in belts on his baby seat. He kept jumping up and down as he couldn't wait to meet his mama. "Calm down Leo, we are going to meet Mama now" I said and kissed his cheek. I sat back in my car and turned on the engine, driving away to my future in laws house. I blushed at that thought. My angel is turning me into a lovesick puppy.

I glanced at the flowers and teddy on the passenger seat. I just hope she really likes them. Once I parked outside Fai's house, I first let Leo out of the car and then picked up the Flowers and teddy as we both walked into the house. 

I saw Leo running into the house and I shouted behind him to be careful. I stood there for a few second fixing my hair and with a deep breath I stepped into her warm home, which was already opened as my parents only arrived a few minutes ago. With a nervous smile I walked into the living room where I could hear people talk. As I opened the door my eyes widened in shock as I dropped the flowers and teddy on the ground in disbelief. I could hear my heart shatter in tiny pieces making me stumble on my feet as I heard the words of my dad.

"Congratulations on your marriage Faith"
