Chapter 43: Dead

Faith's POV

After having breakfast with Dario, which I must say was quite uncomfortable after what happened in our room, we headed off to his place.....his company. I stared in awe on how tall his building was, it was bigger than the building I worked in. "This is where you will be working, Right next to me" he said the last part with a dark tone making me roll my eyes at him. 

"I rather have my own space, thank you very much" I said coldly. "Well tough luck, because you will be sharing your space with me" he smirked while I just glared at his handsome face.

I sat my bag down and looked around in his office. It was amazing, very similar to mine. "You will be the head manager of the designs we produce, you will be taking care of all that, as I know that's what you managed on in your own company" he said while taking out a file from the shelf. 

"Thanks" I muttered and sat on my chair. Dario was going to say something until my phone rang. I looked at the ID of the caller and instantly picked it up. "Good Mor-"

"What the hell is this Faith....how could you do this?....how could you just resign from our company?....you are the damn CEO, not just a regular worker" my dad snapped in the phone. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. "I'm sorry Dad, I thought it would be better working at Dario's place, I mean I think it's better if me and Atlas stay away from each other" I said rather quietly. I glanced over at Dario to find him staring at me with a serious face and blank emotions. 

I quickly looked away and focused on my dad's words. "I don't care Fai....I made you the CEO for a reason. I know you and Atlas have some problems but you can't allow it to affect our work, it took me ages building this business" he hissed in anger. "but dad-" my phone was suddenly snatched making me jump. 

"Good Morning Mr Abdella, Faith will be working with me at my office. If you have any problem with that then please do come and meet me personally"  he said in cold tone, emphasizing on the word personally. 

"Yes...yes....that will be better. Having Noah or Nathan taking over her role would be better. I rather have my wife in front of me rather than her working with her ex-friend" he said with a menacing tone, as he didn't want to say the words, ex-boyfriend. 

"Thank you....Good bye" he said and gave the phone back to me. I sat there, leaning back glaring at his face. "There was no need to do that, I could have spoken to my dad myself" I said with irritation. He continued staring at me not responding to my words. 

What is up with this man and him staring at me?

He then rolled his eyes and stalked towards me making me sit up straight. He leaned close to my face, putting his hands on both sides of the arm chair. I sucked in some air as he came even closer, our face now nearly touching. "These are the tasks for today, one of my workers will explain the rest to you" he said once he grabbed a file behind me as he moved back making me sigh in relief. 

I glared at him in anger.

Was he trying to trick me?

He smirked at me and walked back to his seat. "We will have lunch together at 12pm" he said in a blank tone and started typing furiously on his laptop. What the....

Dario's POV

I mentally laughed feeling her glare on my face while I focussed on my work. Now I didn't need to worry about her facing Atlas everyday. Now I can watch her 24/7 without getting worried. My thoughts went back to this morning. f**k, that kiss was amazing. I wanted to rip her clothes off from her sexy body and take her on the wall while she screamed out my name. Fuck....I already felt my d**k becoming hard.

This woman has the power to control me, she can make me hard in seconds without even doing anything. I glanced over at her to see her reading the file with full concentration. I leaned back on my chair and just watched her every move. How her eyes moved across the paper, reading each word. How her nose would scrunch up when she was confused. How she would move her hair behind her ear, f**k I love this woman.....I love her so much.

She suddenly turned her face to mine and locked her eyes with mine making me freeze. Her eyes, they were so enchanting.....so bewitching. "What?" she asked annoyed making me chuckle. I loved annoying and teasing her because that's when she responds to me fully or else she would keep her distance from me which makes me grit my teeth in anger. 

I know I did wrong by forcing her to marry me. She was so open to me before, she was and is my best friend but after what I did she acts cold towards me, but it's okay...I don't mind. I will wait until her heart opens up for me but for the time being my love is enough for both of us. 

"Nothing" I smirked and looked away smiling to myself. I hated coming to my office everyday but now that she is here with me, in my office, I would die to come here everyday as long as she is beside me. 

I reached out for my phone and checked my messages. One message from Alex made me smirk. Oh Mr Williams, I told you....you messed with the wrong man. You think you will take my Faith away from me......MY FAITH.......NEVER....because I will kill Faith then myself if someone steals her away from me.

Faith's POV

I was now down at the Café, ordering a coffee for myself and Dario. He first refused to let me go down but my glare shut him up. What does that man think?....he can control me?...hell no.

While I was ordering two coffees, I could hear people whispering about something, well not about something but about me. "Who is she and why was she so close to boss?" a girl spat to her friend in anger. "I don't know but Boss even allowed her in his office. Can you believe that?.....he never let's anyone come into his office until he tells them to but this b***h is even working there" her friend said in disgust.

I rolled my eyes at their talks....jealous bitches

I'm his wife you desperate bitches.

"What the f**k did Boss see in her....I mean look at her" another scoffed.

"but I think she is very beautiful" a man said making me mentally chuckle.

"No she isn't....I bet she is f*****g the Boss" she snapped. I could literally feel her glare burning on the side of my face. I just stood there with my arms crossed feeling fed up with this b***h or should I say bitches. They clearly knew I could hear them.

"I know right.....she did the deed that we couldn't even do. I would die to sleep with the boss" a girl said which made me clench my teeth.

Right, that's it!

I walked towards the table in a very calm manner even though I was seething inside with anger. I slammed my hands onto the table and glared at the girl who had the biggest mouth from all off them. Everyone flinched and looked at me with wide eyes. "Next time if you want to say something about me then say it to my face if not then keep that f*****g mouth shut before I shut it myself with my fist...UNDERSTOOD?" I glared at her while she furiously nodded her head taking a big gulp of her saliva. 

I was about to walk away until I stopped and turned towards the table while they were all still staring at me with wide eyes. "and before you start accusing me of sleeping with your boss-" I leaned towards her ear "remember that you are talking about his wife.....Mrs Faith Rizzo" I whispered dangerously while I heard gasps around the table. I smirked and walked back to the counter to take the coffees.

Bloody wasted my time 

As I was walking out of the canteen I saw people looking up at the TV that was placed on the wall. My eyes also went onto the Tv which was showing a murder case. "Yesterday night at 10.30pm a young woman in her late 20s was found dead in the middle of a forest-" I stood still with the tray in my hands as I watched the news with curiosity and shock.

"Love" a voice said behind me making me snap my head towards them. "Sorry, I was coming up but they took a bit longer with making the coffee" I lied not wanting to tell him about the incident. "No problem love....come...I'll hold the tray" he offered and took the tray off me. We were about walk further until I stopped my eyes widening in fear, shock and sadness while Dario looked at me in confusion.

"From the investigation reports, we have sadly found out that the young woman fell from a cliff and had instantly died once she hit the ground. Clara Garner, age 28 was found dead at 10.30pm yesterday at-" 

"Clara ........is dead?"
