Chapter 39: His Mistress?

Faith's POV

I have been stuck in a meeting for 1 hour and not once have I seen Atlas, in fact it has been a full week. What the hell is this man doing?, doesn't he know how much he is affecting the company due to his absence. "Where is Mr Williams?" I asked my PA. "Ma'am he is actually off sick" she answered. 

Off sick?

I gave her a nod and went back to my work. I'm sure he was fine a week ago, I mean there was no sign of illness unless.....

I scoffed when I realised the reason behind his absence. Was it because I was now married?, was he too scared to face me?. 

I don't give a s**t behind his illness or absence, my company is important and I need this man to be in.

"Lily, I want you to call Mr Williams and tell him to come him tomorrow and it's urgent and if he refuses then tell him that I told him to come in" I ordered her. "Yes ma'am, I'm on it" she said before walking out of the door. 

The images of when Atlas came in with Melissa as his bride flashed in front of my eyes. Did he feel the same way I did?....

I laid my head onto my desk closing my eyes. "Why does it still hurt?.....why can't I forget everything?" I whispered in my arms. I wanted to run away from everything, from my family, from Dario, from Atlas, from this country. I wanted to dissapear. I wish I had amnesia or could lose my memories, at least I wouldn't be in pain anymore. 

I snapped my head up when I heard a knock on my office door. "Come in" I said while straightening my clothes on my body. My PA walked in looking rather nervous. "What's wrong Lily?" I asked her with a blank expression. "Ma'am a-actually s-s-someone is here to m-meet you" she stuttered. 

"Who?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. 

"Mommy" a voice cried out from behind her causing me to frown. There is only one person who calls me mommy.

"Kiddo?"

He ran towards me, crying into my legs. I froze in shock at what just happened. How the hell did this kid reach here?, was Atlas here too?.

I shook my head to get my mind straight and looked at the kid. I cupped his cheeks so that he could raise his head to see me but my eyes widened when my gaze froze on his red cheek. His tears were non-stop flowing out of his eyes. Instantly feeling protective, I picked the kid up and sat him on my lap. I gritted my teeth as I glared at his cheek. 

"Mom...mom...mommy" he cried on my chest. I stroked his hair bouncing him a bit on my lap. "Leo, how did you come here?....did your dad bring you here?" I asked him. He shook his head but continued crying in my chest. What on earth happened?.

I cupped his cheeks and wiped his tears. "Leo....who brought you here?" I asked him softly. "B-bunny" he said quietly while sniffling.

"Bunny?" 

My thoughts were distracted when I heard someone clear their throat. "Umm that will be me Miss Abdel. Actually my name is Benjamin but Mr Junior Williams calls me Bunny, I am his driver" he introduced himself. I gave him a small nod and caressed Leo's hair. 

"Why is he here and why is he crying?" I asked in concern. Benjamin looked down in sadness and decided to stay silent. I fisted my hands in anger for not getting an answer but didn't want to vent my anger out in front of a child.

"Kiddo" I called him causing him to hide his face further into my chest. "Look at me" I said but he nuzzled more into my chest. I softly raised his face up again so I could look at his cheek. A rage of anger entered my body when I saw the red handprint on his delicate soft skin. I slightly touched his burning cheek which made him flinch but nether or less his tears continued flowing.

Did Atlas do this?

Did he actually hit his 3 year old child?

"Did your daddy do this?" I asked him softly. He shook his head and sniffled. "I-I don't like witch....she bad....she...she not mommy....you my mommy" he hugged me tighter.

Witch?

"Leo who did that you?" I asked in anger but made sure my tone was soft. "Witch" he sobbed. "Mr Benjamin who is he talking about?" I asked in confusion. "Ma'am he is-" he faked a cough, "he is talking about Mr Williams mistress, I believe that is what she is" he said in disappointment.

Mistress?....he has a mistress?, well I don't care who he has but how dare she raises her hand on an innocent child and how f*****g dare Atlas allowed her to even do that.

 What the actual f**k?

I picked Leo up and stood up from my chair. "Mr Benjamin you can go, I'll bring Leo with me" I said blankly. Before Benjamin could say anything Leo started crying out loud as he clinged onto my neck tightly making me choke a bit. "NO....I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK. SHE BAD MAMA....SHE BAD....SHE SAID SHE TAKE PAPA....SHE SAID MAMA HATE ME.....MAMA LOVE ME.....MAMA LOVE ONLY ME" He cried. I was taken aback. 

What the f**k did that woman tell him?

"Benjamin you can go, I'll bring him, don't worry" I said and he nodded, leaving the room. "Hey Kiddo, I'm here with you okay?....no one will hurt you" I comforted him. He sniffled and hid his face into my neck. Taking his silence as an agreement, I quickly told my PA that I am leaving for the day and to finish of any work that is pending. 

It took me a few minutes to reach Atlas's house. Images again flashed in front of my eyes when ever I see this house. The house of hell. I picked Leo up and entered the house giving the guards a cold look who were looking down in guilt?.

I put Leo down and shouted for Atlas. "MR WILLIAMS" I shouted but no one came down. "Faith?" Kate called out behind me, shock shown on her face. "Faith....you here?.....I mean you are always welcome but-", "Where is your son?" I asked coldly. "Faith is everything okay?...and why is Leo with you?" Dave asked in confusion. 

Ignoring the two couples, I walked up the stairs with Leo running behind me which also included Kate and Dave. "I'm going to f*****g kill this man when he comes in front of me" I gritted to myself. 

Once reaching his room, I flung open the door and stood there in shock, my eyes wide at the scene in front of me. 

What the actual f**k!
