“What did you just say?” Nick says sounding like I told him that the world is coming to an end.
“Don’t be so shocked, this is your own doing. You got me into this,” I say dropping my duffel bag on the floor, looking around the guest bedroom. Mina told me I’ll be moving into the main bedroom tomorrow so I guess there is no need for me to get comfortable yet.
“I did, but…” he says sounding like he’s about to tell me that I should come home.
“Don’t worry. I’m calling you to tell you that you need to be here tonight so you can witness your little brother getting married. And that you shouldn’t be shocked because I’ll be marrying a male wolf,” I quickly say. I walk to the large window that overlooks the forest. It looks tempting. I really want to go for a run out there.
