Haven “Sorry,” I say clenching my hands into fists at my side. Strange tingles climb up my arms, making me feel strange inside. My chest tightens. I take a deep breath, trying to loosen it. But I feel strange standing there in front of him. I don’t know if it has something to do with last night – meeting so unexpectedly in the hallway. I don’t think so though. This feels different…I don’t know what it is. “I’m fine,” Deni finally says turning to face me, but his eyes don’t reach my face. He stops somewhere around my chest. I give up trying to catch his eyes, and stare down at him. “Cory told me you were going to drive the berries to market once the harvest was done. Since everything will be done later tonight. We could drive out tomorrow,” I say. He finally looks up, his face
