Nothing. Everything I’d planned for myself these past weeks turned into nothing.
I’d planned on getting away, leaving everything behind, and moving to Scotland for another peaceful year. I was ready to accept the opportunity waiting for me in another part of the world. But that was a few minutes ago until Luke expressed an unexpected confession.
