Faith’s POV
A mixture of pity and fear. That’s how I felt the moment I regained consciousness and made sense of what is happening inside the palace. It has been two days since I regained consciousness, but Princess Aldrea is still lying unconscious on her bed. We brought her back to her room to avoid suspicion. However, I stayed with her for my brother’s peace of mind.
Two days ago, he refused to bring Princess Aldrea back here because there is no way he is allowed to enter inside this vast room. We argued for hours until he listened to my explanation. Having her inside my room would just arouse suspicion. What if members of the royal family suddenly come and look for her? There would be no forgivable explanation if they find her lying unconscious on my bed.
