As promised, the next morning Estra took me to the city mall. It was a huge building which looked like one enormous crystal with about seven floors and several terraces with huge gardens. “Can we go to one of those?” I pointed at a garden before we entered the mall. “Of course. You will love those gardens.” Estra’s voice was ecstatic and then I was sure that I had just found someone who loved shopping more than anything. I just hoped that I would survive her craziness.
As soon as we entered, my jaw dropped. There was a huge tree right in the middle of the circular square with a small, almost natural-looking pond and benches around it. There were dozens of small shops, every single one looked like it was carved out of the crystalline building. It was different from Estra’s home.
