While looking for his family around the house, Faulus saw the condition of the people on the island who lived near his house, some of whom had lost their families due to the shaking of the ground. he finally saw someone who was nobody else was his best friend. He quickly embraced his friend. His best friend was beyond help, his condition was critically crushed by the rubble, then his best friend conveyed the condition of his family. To his surprise, Faulus cried loudly while hugging his best friend, because he had told him that his family's condition could no longer be saved as well as his friend who had breathed his last. But Faulus survived the wave. He was saved because he passed out on his own ship. And the morning sun was shining, Faulus finally realized and saw that he was fine. then he saw that he was now in the middle of the ocean and adrift on his ship and saw that the island of Lawang which he lived in had been sunk by the ocean. Not at peace with how he felt. Faulus was looking for the whereabouts of the island again. While rowing his boat, he kept looking left and right but he found nothing. only the vast ocean was visible in his eyes. notdisheartened, he continued to search and search, unfortunately only the bodies of the people on the island he saw floating on the water. In desperation, Faulus stopped rowing his boat to look for the island, because he was sure that the island where he lived was no longer there and that no people had survived the wave disaster last night. He just resigned himself to the situation he was in and didn't want to do anything else. After days of floating on the water, at night Faulus arrived at an uninhabited island. Weakly, the man got off the boat and headed for the shore. then he fell because he was weak and did not eat anything while floating on the water. Finally the man passed out on the beach. Then the night turned to morning. Faulus just opened his eyes and turned to the left and saw a small crab and wanted to catch it. but he couldn't move his body because he was weak. but he kept getting up and then he was able to catch the crab. then eat it raw because of unbearable hunger. after he felt able to move his body, he went around to check the condition of the island. then he walked and looked around the island. the man saw a lot of things he had never seen before. he continued to walk around while gathering food to bring back. Having finished circling the island, Faulus returned to the shore near his ship. Then the man looked for dry wood to start the fire. but Faulus was inexperienced in survival. in frustration he only eats the food he finds raw, be it wild vegetables or raw crab meat. Then with a confused mind, Faulus built a tent for him to rest. he used wooden branches as tent poles, coconut leaves as a roof, and dry leaves as a base. he managed to make the tent. Finally, happily he fell asleep. night was approaching, he woke up from his sleep because he was hungry. then he took the raw food he found that afternoon in the forest and on the beach. While eating, the man kept thinking about strange things. "What's the point of me living if I'm alone on this island. I'd better end my life because there's no use in this situation anymore" . night turned to morning again. Faulus woke up from his sleep, then looked for the remaining fishing equipment in his boat. Fortunately, there were some fishing equipment. such as hook and thread. happily the man took the equipment and immediately made a fishing line and he went fishing. Then Faulus caught a small crab as bait for him to fish. And the man's mouth mumbled "I hope I get fish to eat today". then the fishing line is thrown. While waiting for the fish to eat the hook, Faulus went to the forest again looking for wild vegetables to eat. then he came back again to check his fishing rod. Luckily there was a fish caught in the fishing rod. with a happy heart returned to his tent. but he was confused because he did not know what to do with the fish. then he remembered how his late friend brought him to life. "Two sticks that are rubbed together will spark a fire." so said his friend. then he tried to start the fire. but faulus always failed he tried again and again. Faulus did not succeed in starting the fire. there was only his hand injured by the splinters of the twig. in desperation he threw down the branch and pondered. after trying again and again but failing, He tried to pick up the branch he threw and tried one last time. in the end his efforts were not in vain. There were sparks he made from rubbing the two twigs together. then he tried again and the fire started. he quickly sprinkled the fire with dry leaves to make the fire bigger. Faulus went to the beach to clean the fish he got. with a happy heart he burned the fish and ate it. while eating the fish that he burned, the man continued to stare at the bonfire and tried to remember the things he had experienced while still living on Pulau Lawang. like remembering things about family while it was around. about his best friend, and about other things that existed on the island of Lawang before it was lost in the waves. he was crying incessantly thinking about these things. but what to say everything has happened. with the feeling of drowsiness that the man felt was fast asleep. morning arrived, the sun rising from the east signaled faulus had to find food for him today. as usual he rushed to the beach to fish and the forest to look for vegetables. when faulus arrived in the forest, he rushed to pick vegetables and he was surprised to see an animal huhng he never saw. then he wondered "what animal is it?, why is it so weird". warily he approached the animal. the animal has four legs and very long horns. Then Faulus asked again "Is this animal a buffalo, a goat or a cow?". because on the island he had lived on before there was no animal like this. Then he bravely approached the animal. The animal ran away in fear. Faulus also chased the animal, but still failed. then he gave up on chasing. The man continued to look for vegetables to take him back to the tent. while collecting vegetables, suddenly the animal came close to him. then smelled a delicious smell in the vegetable holder that faulus had collected. after that gave some of the vegetables he picked to the animal. the animal eats it. After eating the vegetables that Faulus gave him, the animal ran again into the forest. not wanting to think about it anymore because the weather was already showing that it was almost night, the man went back to his tent. Arriving at the tent, Faulus took his fishing rod. and brought the bait to eat tonight. while he was cooking the fish and vegetables he got, suddenly heard a rustling sound from the bushes. Faulus was frightened and took a burning stick to see what was going on behind the bushes. With a shock Faulus was thrown to the beach in shock. it turned out that the animal that had come to his tent this afternoon. then the man got up and started stroking the animal's head. because the man felt okay, he took the animal to his tent. While walking along the beach, suddenly the man saw something familiar to him. i.e. a shipwrecked. he rushed to the ship and then inspected it.
