Chapter 18 The kiss lingers long after they’ve parted. Jai is back on the truck’s passenger side, leaning against the cool window, fingers lightly touching lips that still tingle from where Duane’s pressed them in the dark. He tastes like the sweet and sour chicken wraps he’d had for dinner, and a little like the rich, creamy cheesecake they’d both ordered for dessert.
