“Can I ask you out tonight?”
Ask… WHAT??

Is this some kind of a joke?? He’s serious about that?
“You mean… on a date?” I asked.
“Yeah. I know you and Caleb are not romantically involved, so…”
While he was speaking, I saw Caleb behind the director.
“Actually… you’re wrong about that. Caleb and I are actually dating, for real” I spoke and just on cue, Caleb is approaching us. He’s clueless.
“Are you… I thought you’re not into him?” he asked. He looks puzzled and I wanted to laugh at him now but I have to act too.
“Hey” Caleb interferes with us.
“We have to go we have a commitment with each other too,” I said and smiled at the director who seem not to believe me but I cling my hand to Caleb and drag him out.
