I finally meet her

TORI’S POV I slowly open my eyes and the first thing I see is a strange ceiling, which causes me to panic, so I quickly lift my body till Caleb appears at my side. "Are you alright?" when he observed I was rushing to wake up, he worriedly questioned. "Yeah," I sighed, relieved at having remembered where I was. "I just forgot where I was until I saw the whole place," I explained. It's now past sundown, and the area is beginning to darken. "You appear to have gotten a decent night's sleep," he observed. After a restful night's sleep, I stretch my body. “Yeah, that was really--- wait! Sh*t! Why didn't you wake me up?” “What?! You didn't say anything about me waking you up!” "I have to leave!" I hurriedly stood up and walked quickly towards my car, Caleb trailing behind me. “Hey! Can you possibly explain what's going on!? " Caleb kept asking from behind me, so I decided to come to a halt and face him. "I appreciate you bringing me here. I appreciate it, but I really need to get going, okay? I'll see you tomorrow," I hastened to open my car's door. I instantly started the engine and drove away after getting in. Caleb must be perplexed right now, but I simply don't have the time to speak with him. I'm sure he's on his way back home as well. I finally got to the actual area where I saw that girl walking last night after about an hour of driving through severe traffic. I'm guessing she hasn't arrived yet. I sat inside the car, staring out the window towards the street where I had last seen her. There had been no sign of her for more than half an hour. Although there were some passers-by, I couldn't see her shadow at all. I'm not going to give up. It's a case of now or never. If I can't see her right now, I'll take it as a sign that I shouldn't try to find her again. *Phone rings* It's my mother calling. Before taking up the phone, I let out a sigh. "Yes, mom?" I spoke to her. "Where have you gone " she inquired. "I-I am..." What am I supposed to say? "I'm with Caleb!" I know she likes Caleb and wouldn't be offended if I told her those reasons. She has no complaints about Caleb or my road manager in this regard. "Oh, that's great. Could it be true that you two are on a date? " She enquired teasingly. “No! We're just—I mean, we're just—-" "That's fine, honey," Mom cut me off, "I understand. Well, have fun, you two!” Caleb must have piqued Mom's interest, but not me. I wish I could love him back the way he loved me so there would be no problem. I've tried but... I just... can't. "Mom, we're not going..." What the--- "Mom!" I exclaim as she drops the calls. Sh*t! I need to contact Caleb. “Yes? Is there a problem?" After I called Celeb, he picked up the phone. "Listen to me, if my mother calls or texts you and asks if we're together, tell her we are, okay?" I told him straight up, and it was obvious that I was in a hurry. “Okay?" However, he sounds doubtful. "Good," I said. Caleb, at the other end of the line, said, "I guess she just texted me." "All right, SMS her the one I told you about." "Wait..." he says as he holds up the call. "Okay, thanks," I say as I prepare to hang up when he asks, "where are you, really?" "I have an urgent problem to attend to. Bye!" I hung up the phone, leaving him no room to speak. I returned my gaze to the street, waiting for that girl to appear. I've been waiting for about an hour now, but there's still no sign of her. I decided to go for a walk so I wouldn't get bored, but walking made me tired, so I went back to the car and waited another thirty minutes until I decided to turn on the music and listen to some pop music to keep myself awake. While the music continues to play, I scroll down on my phone, keeping a constant eye on the road to check if she has already passed by, until my eyes become too tired. I keep snapping out to keep from falling asleep, but it's just too difficult to resist. … Slowly, I open my eyes and extend my body back, but I have back discomfort, possibly from staying in such an uncomfortable position for so long—- “Oh! Not this time!!” There are literally no people strolling around, and only one or two cars pass along the street. I dozed off once again. Seriously? This is completely pointless! I've just squandered my time. Perhaps this is a warning to abandon the foolish concept of looking for her because even fate does not want it to happen. I started the engine and cautiously drove the car towards the lane when I saw a familiar face… IT’S HERE!! I pulled over to the side of the road as she exited the cab, and I followed her down the tiny street. I suppose fate is bringing us together for a reason. I'm walking slowly behind her, and I have a feeling she's already realized I'm following her but isn't alarmed, so I'm simply looking for an opportunity to get her attention. Should I drop her a call? I don't want to wait till she has another turn and it's too late to approach her. This is why I came, yet I'm suddenly nervous about it. When I'm going to do it... "Oh, sh*t!" When she pointed a scissor at me, my heart stopped. She moved so quickly that I didn't even see her when she turned to me and pointed the scissor at me. Worse, I almost bumped into it, and if I had done, I'm sure I'd be dead right now. "Who are you?!" She inquired tensely, keeping her guard up. I shielded myself with my hand and kept a safe distance from her since she's holding a scissor. I told her, "Calm down, I just want to talk to you." I'm wearing a hat, a cap, and a mask, so she won't be able to tell who I am. "You have the appearance of a thief!" Her voice began to rise, and I was concerned that she might draw attention to herself. “No! No! No! I'm not! I'll take off anything that's protecting my face, but I'd like you to remain calm. Okay, I promise I don't have any bad intentions. " I said as I tried to reach an agreement with her. I slowly removed my cap and then my shades while looking straight at her. I can see her clearly, and I still can't believe she looks exactly like me from every angle. I notice her forehead is furrowed, so I gradually remove my mask, showing my face to her. I keep a close eye on her until the scissors slide from her grip and fall to the ground. She went completely still. I think she's beyond surprised? It's strange to see someone who looks a lot like you but isn't your sister. They say there are at least seven people on the planet who look precisely like us. That may sound crazy, but it's actually happening right now. I'm curious, but I have no idea how she feels about it. "Hey, are you all, right?" I asked her why she didn't respond to me and just stared at me. "W-who are... y-you?" she asks, stammering as she takes a step back. "I don't know whether you've heard of me before, but my name is Tori Madrigal, and I'm an actress," I said. She was still in shock, and I couldn't grasp her quickly enough to talk to her right away, so I gave her some time to recover before I spoke to her. "Y-you look... we look alike," she exclaims. "Yes, we do," I responded with a nod. "What exactly do you expect from me?" she inquired. "I'd like to meet you. I once saw you going down this street from the same side as I was staying at the hotel, and I was astounded to see you, a carbon copy of myself... that was just mind-blowing," I informed her. She picked up the scissors that had fallen on the floor earlier and began to relax. She may now be talked to in a pleasant manner about various aspects of our lives. "I can't believe this," she mumbled, her gaze falling on my face and body. "I know it's insane," I said gently. "And what are you doing here?" she asked and sighed deeply. I told her, "I just want to confirm if we actually look alike or if I was just imagining those nights, but now it's all proven." She motioned for me to take a seat on the far side, where there is a wooden chair. When I appear worried about sitting on it, she assures me, "Don't worry, it's clean." I don't have an option but to sit there, "All right," and we both settle down. "Did you say... you're an actress? Is that right?" she inquired. “Uhm yeah. I am not that popular anyway”, I simply responded. "Probably because I haven't heard your name in a long time," she stated flatly. Okay? Wasn't that frank? With her, I wasn't prepared enough. Is she like this when she speaks? Being insensitive and direct? Gosh! She's way out of whack. When she stared at me, her expression changed abruptly: "Oh my gosh!" Did I offend you in any way? " she inquired, concerned. You did, and it was too late for you to recognize it. Those are the words I want to say to her, however... “No. It's OK," I said. "We've only had her for nearly two years, and I don't know many of the actors here, and I don't watch TV because I'm too busy working," she explained. Her voice had a hint of sadness in it, and I realized at that instant that she was carrying a lot of weight on her shoulders. "What do you do for a living? " I inquired. "In the mornings, I work as a server in a cafe, and at night, I work in food delivery," she explained, her eyes darting about the room. I couldn't cease marveling at her predicament. Working all hours of the day and night, on various tasks that are both demanding and underpaid. "Oh, don't feel sorry for me just because it's my job. I'm driven by my work, and as long as I earn it, it's all good," she said with a sad smile on her face, as I can see. I made a smile at her to indicate that I didn't feel sorry for her. "I think you're amazing," I told her, and she smiled back. "Thank you," she expressed her gratitude. “Andrea!” "Oh, it's him," someone exclaimed, drawing our attention. "Let me introduce you to—-," “No. Actually, I have to leave. Andrea, right? Nice to meet you, bye!" I said, and she only nodded her head, puzzled. I put on my cap and shades and stood up as I noticed someone approaching us. “Okay? Bye?" I couldn't see the person's face clearly, but I didn't need to know, and whatever he was, he must not have seen me yet. I kept going without turning around till I arrived at my car. I climbed into the car and began driving back to my house.
