ALEX's POV I throw my bag on the sofa when I got home, take off my shoes, and walk upstairs, head straight to my room. Sitting on my bed, I get the phone in my pocket and dial my mother's number. For sure, she's worried about me now because I didn't contact her these days. Her phone rings and within a second she picked up. "Hello?" I smile when I heard my mother's soft, calm, and sweet voice on the other line. "Mum, it's me. Alex." I say. "Alex?" "Yes, mum. I'm sorry, I haven't contacted you these days. I was kind of busy." I lied. I don't have my phone in me these days. "Yes, I know. Don't worry. It's okay." I sigh out in relief. "Thank you, mum." Luckily, my mother is very understanding. "Wait, why you didn't tell me that you got a girlfriend, huh?" She asks in teased.
