“Mom, are you feeling okay?” I asked as I walked into her room, she wasn’t in the kitchen making breakfast as she usually was, so I went to her room and she was still in bed, used tissues were scattered all over the bed and the floor, 'has she been crying all night?'
“I’m fine honey I just have a bit of a cold, nothing a little bit of rest can’t cure”, she sniffled, I felt bad, I couldn't help but think that she’s like this because of me, maybe I pushed too hard last night.
“Do you want something to eat?”
“No honey, go to school, you’re going to be late”
