I honestly had a really fun time with Val. We have a lot more in common than I was expecting. Val also likes reading romance novels, she likes the same TV shows as me too, and she even likes the same flavor of ice cream. Mint chip.
Although we do have our differences. I would be lying if I said that didn't make me a bit nervous at first. I've never had a friend before, but I worried that if we were too opposite, our friendship would never work. Val, however, didn't seem bothered at all by our differences. In fact, she seemed kind of... excited.
