I took a deep breath, and walked out of the bathroom. Val was sitting on her bed with her legs crossed. She has a couple of bottles of water and her laptop sitting in front of her. I walked to her bed, and sat down.
"I pulled up that movie on Netflix we were talking about. Ready to watch it?" She asked.
I played with my fingers, trying to gather the courage to ask Val what I wanted to ask her.
"Hey, is everything okay?" She asked.
I nodded.
Val just gave me a strange look. I closed my eyes, and took a deep breath.
I can do this. It's just Val. She'll probably be excited to gush about this stuff. Right?
