Baby Daddy For Hire

CHAPTER 2

I woke up early today to prepare for a business meeting that I have to attend later today.

It's so exhausting that I always have to attend a meeting almost everyday!

“Dad what are you doing here?” nag tatakang tanong ko kay daddy pag baba ko galing sa kwarto.

It's not like him to be here because as far as I can remember he's always out hanging out with his friends.

He looked at me and shrugged his shoulder.

“Well as far as I can remember it’s still my house…” he answered sarcastically

“I know dad...Don't be silly!” I rolled my eyes chuckling, “what I mean is, what are you doing here when you are supposed to be in costa rica?” tanong ko sa kanya.

Ever since nag retire kasi si daddy palagi nalang siyang nag gagala kung saan saan…hanging out with his friends from business who also retired from their positions.

I don't mind him going on a vacation and enjoying his life because he earned it!

“I got bored so I decided to get back home…you want to join me for breakfast?” dad ask then I followed him to the dinning hall to join him for breakfast since I haven't eat yet..

“Thanks manang! You’re the best!” papuri ko kay manang nang hainan na niya kami ng almusal.

She just smiled and patted my head.

“Come on manang join us!” dad invited her but she turned him down politely.

“Ah hindi na po sir… may trabaho pa po ako tsaka tapos na po kami mag almusal,” manang stated.

Araw araw kasi ay lagi naman silang maagang gumigising para masimulan agad ang trabaho nila at ipaghanda kami ng lahat ng mga kakailangan namin sa mag hapon.

They're really good at their job that's why we loved them and treated them like a family because they take good care of us!

“Oh okay..if you say so,” said dad then he started eating.

“So how’s Costa rica? Did you have a good time?” tanong ko kay dad habang kumakain.

Sa costa rica siya laging pumupunta kapag nagbabakasyon sila…

sa dinami dami ng bansang maaaring puntahan ay ito ang pinaka paborito niya.

He really likes the idea of hiking and then go to the beaches...

I don't know what he likes about it because personally I hate beaches... I hate getting wet,and having sand sticking on my feet! it's annoying and gross.

“Yeah! It’s fun… you should come with me next time darling… I’m sure you’ll gonna love there,” sambit niya ng nakangiti.

halata sa kanya na nag enjoy talaga siya sa naging bakasyon niya.

I’m really happy that my dad is finally having a good time…I know that he deserves to be happy especially after all the sacrifices that he made back then,he work his ass off so hard just to provide for me…

He got really busy back then that he didn’t even have time to shower especially when mom left us penniless after she took all dad’s money.

Ugh! I can’t help but rolled my eyes remembering what she did to us.

“Oh I wish I can dad… I would love to come with you but I just can’t! I have so much work to attend to and I don’t have time to relax and have a vacation,especially now that we’re opening a new branch,” malungkot na sagot ko kay daddy.

Mataman niya akong tinignan at nanahimik na sandali

“Honey…When I entrusted you to take over the company you said that you can handle it…and I know you can! But seeing you letting yourself drowning with the works and not being able to have a life makes me regret my decision.

I’m sorry honey… I shouldn’t have pass all my responsibility to you!” dad said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

“Dad it’s okay! I love working you know that…at hindi totoong nilulunod ko ang sarili ko sa trabaho, I hang out with margarette sometimes,”

“Really?” he raised his eyebrows, “ And yet here you are, a 26 years old woman who doesn’t even have a boyfriend!” sambit ni daddy na my halong panunumbat.

“Oh here we are again!” I rolled my eyes at him.

“Honey I didn’t build the company to see you like this… I work my ass off building that company from scratch so that I can make sure that you will live a happy life.

Gusto kong magkaroon ka ng sarili mong pamilya…

Before I die gusto kong may mabuting tao ka nang makakasama mo sa buhay.

And I also want to see my grandkid before I die!” sambit ni daddy na halatang nag aalala sa nagiging takbo ng buhay ko.

Well alam ko naman na dapat din akong mag karoon ng sarili kong pamilya pero ayokong mag asawa, tama na sa akin ang magkaroon ng anak.

“Dad wag kang magsalita ng ganyan! Mahaba pa ang buhay mo at makikita mo pa ang magiging apo mo!” I exclaimed with my full confidence even though I’m not sure if I'm gonna be a mom anytime soon.

“I sure hope so darling… but how can I be a grandpa if you don’t have a man in your life? You know you can’t use your fingers to make a baby right?” dad said that make me feel so embarrass!

“Dad! You are gross!” sigaw ko na naka kunot noo dahil sa sinabi niya.

I know that I’m already grown up pero nakakahiya pa ring pag usapan ang ganung bagay lalo na kapag siya ang kausap.

“What? I'm just saying!” he said laughing looking at me so embarrass, “you know maybe you can go out on a date with my compadre’s son…he is cute and wise and I’m sure he’s gonna take care of you!” dad said trying to hook me up again with someone.

“Dad I thought we are done talking about this?!”

“I know… I know, but I just want you to have a family…”

“I will dad! Im working on it…you’ll see!”

“Fine… I’ll wait, but if I still don't have a grandkid before the year end, I’m gonna forced you to marry someone else!” napanganga ako sa sinabi niya.

Saan naman ako kukuha ng anak ng ganun kadali? Sa sobrang busy ko ni hindi ko nga makuhang makipag date eh!

“Fine deal!” pagpayag ko sa mungkahi ni daddy just to shut him up.

“Good girl… anyway I better get going… the president and I will be playing a golf today.”

Dad left after finishing his meal leaving me there thinking what I was gonna do.

“ARGHH!! what did I get my self into?!” I bang my fist in the table.

“Bakit anong problema?” tanong ni manang habang nagliligpit ng pinagkainan namin.

“Naki pag deal ako kay daddy na before this year ends dapat my apo na siya…” napabuntong hininga kong sambit kay manang.

“At anong plano mo?” she chuckles

“I don’t know manang… I don’t have time to date and I certainly don’t want to get married! But I do want a kid,”

“hayyyy yan na nga ba ang ipinag aalala ko sayo eh! Hindi mo pa rin makalimutan ang ginawa ng mama mo kaya hanggang ngayon ayaw mo pa ring mag asawa ano?” tanong ni manang na my pag aalala sa mukha niya.

“Yeah manang… why would I marry if iiwan lang din naman ako na mag isa at ayokong lumaki ang anak ko na nakakaramdam ng katulad ng naramdaman ko noon…kung mag kakaroon man ako ng anak ay palalakihin mo iyong mag isa...hindi namin kailangan ng iba para maging masaya,kung maiiwan lang din naman kami at masasaktan ay di bale nalang!”

“Pero kailangan mong mag asawa… hindi habang buhay nandito ako para alagaan ka!” I know that what she said is true but I'm afraid of getting married.

I just want a kid…

At Least my kid won't leave me!

I'm sure I’ll come up with something kung paano ako mag kakaanak na hindi nagpapakasal.

Lumipas ang mag hapon na napakabilis…

Hindi maalis sa utak ko kung paano nga ba ako magkakaanak ng hindi nag aasawa…

I know what you’re thinking!

I could just adopt a child, But I want to concieve a child in a normal way but I don’t want some jerk to knocked me up just like that!

Gusto ko na ang lalaking makakabuntis sa akin ay hindi ikakahiyang tawaging papa ng anak ko.

MARGARETTE

“You what?!!!” bulalas ko sa sinabi ng matalik kong kaibigan na si issabele.

Hindi ako makapaniwala sa kalokohang naiisip niya… alam kong sobrang busy niyang tao pero sa palagay ko ay sumobra naman ata ang naisip niyang solusyon sa problema niya.

Issabele is a very nice and intellegent woman not to mention she is also very rich…her family is one of the wealthiest family in the country,but despite all that may katangahan pa rin talagang taglay ang babaeng ito lalo na pagdating sa lovelife niya.

“You heard me! I'm gonna hire someone to impregnate me! I'm gonna hire a baby daddy!” she said confidently.

Napaawang nalang ang bibig ko sa pagkamangha sa sinabi niya…hindi ko alam kung saan niya nakukuha ang ganitong ideya.

“Girl? You know how crazy you sound right now?” I said sarcastically raising my eyebrows.

“Why? It’s a good idea! I don’t have to marry just to have a baby… I mean I will pay them no matter how much they wanted! As long as they can gave me a beautiful and healthy baby,” sambit niya na ikinailing ko naman.

Seryosong tinignan ko siya hoping to see a hint in her face that she was just joking but I failed! She really is serious about her idea!

“And how are you gonna do that?” tanong ko sa kanya while raising my eyebrows.

kahit na hindi ako kumbinsido sa iniisip niya at alam kong kahibangan ang gusto niyang mangyari pero dahil mabait akong kaibigan ay gusto ko pa rin siyang suportahan.

“Simple! I will just post a job advertisement in every advertisement platform and viola!

They will come straight to me applying for a job!” nakangiting sabi niya na tila ba napakasimpleng bagay lang ng gagawin niya.

“You serious girl? What are you gonna put in advertisement? Wanted: baby daddy with a big d**k who can knock me up after one s*x!For Interested applicants come visit me and show me your d**k for interview!

Is that what you’re what you’re gonna say?” sarkastikong tanong ko sa kanya pero ngumiti lang siya sa akin na para bang may nabuo na siyang ideya sa isip niya.

“Of course not! You know that My secretary Is leaving right? And that position is open?”

“Uhm yeah so?”

“I'm going to use that position to find someone who can do the job!” she said excitedly

“I'm sorry...I just cant wrapped my head around it..." I said while massaging my temple.

"You’re gonna hire someone to be your secretary and then make them have s*x with you and tell them to get you pregnant?” naguguluhang tanong ko sa kanya

“Uhh yes! You're so wise! That’s exactly what I was gonna do!” she said sounded so sure about it.

I don’t know what to think… I mean did she actually think that her brilliant plan is gonna work?

I'm always supportive to her in everything but I think this idea of hers is a biggggggg big mistake! Not to mention it's silly and insane!

Sinong respetadong lalaki na may mataas na pinag aralan ang papayag na bumuntis sa kanya ng ganun ganun lang?

Yes she's pretty and all pero ang taong hinahanap niya ay may pinag aralan at prinsipyo sa buhay!

“And you think they will agree to that? That they will just comply to what you want?”

“Why not? I’m paying them big money and at the same time they have the opportunity to have s*x with me! Who the hell wouldn’t want that?!” napailing nalang ako sa sinabi niya at napabuntong hininga.. alam kong hindi ko na siya mapipigilan sa gusto niya dahil nakapagdesisyon na siya.

“I don’t know Issa…I think this is a terrible Idea!”

“Relax marga! I know what I'm doing! And I assure you that It’s gonna work.”

Honestly my head is aching and spining right now! I still can't process what she just said.

Hinayaan ko na lamang siya sa gusto niya dahil alam ko naman na hindi ko na mababago ang isip niya once na buo na ang desisyon niya.

ISSABELE

After I went to margarette’s place, I head straight to the office to finalize my plan.

You see I know that many people would disagree with my idea but who cares? I wanted to have a child without marrying so I came up with the idea that I will hire someone to get me pregnant.

Alam kong hindi magandang ideya ito pero anong magagawa ko kung masyado akong busy para makipagdate sa iba at masyado din akong takot na magmahal para magpakasal…

don’t get me wrong… I also wanted to have a family but after mom left us natakot na akong mahulog din sa iba at magpakasal lalo na kung matutulad ako sa daddy ko na maiiwang mag isa.

Kung ganun lang din naman ang mangyayari ay mas gusto ko nalang magkaroon ng anak na aalagaan at hindi ako iiwan.

“Mike?” tawag ko sa secretary ko

at Agad naman siyang lumapit sa akin at itinanong kung may kailangan ba ako.

“Yes maam?”

“Did you find someone to replace you already??" I ask.

It's been a month already and he only have two months left before his marriage and it's honestly stressing me out thinking that he's leaving.

"Im sorry Maam .. Im afraid i haven't...yet.

I already trained 3 candidates but they all backed out after just 3 days or so...but I promise I'll find someone good before I left," he said looking so nervous.

Maybe he thinks that i might get mad at him for not being able to find a replacement yet,but that honestly works for me.

"It's ok...I'll take care of it," sambit ko sa kanya.

Halatang nabigla sya sa sinabi ko kaya nanlaki ang mata niya.

"Seriously? He asked acting so surprise.

"Yeah...I'll find someone and you're gonna train him...now get lost!" Utos ko sa kanya pagkatapos ay ipinaypay ko ang kamay ko para imuwestrang lumabas na siya sa opisina ko.

I get back to finalising the criteria I wrote for hiring my baby daddy.
