Amanda stares at the woman standing before her. Lauren Wilson. The name that gets Jaxon angry every time it is mentioned. Her husband's ex is in her house asking for help. Lauren truly is a beautiful woman, shoulder length red hair, pretty brown eyes. A sharp nose, plump red lips, a body that looks like it was taken off a cover of Vogue magazine. This woman is beautiful enough to make anyone feel doubtful of themselves. Who wouldn't? She is a goddess and now Amanda understands why Jaxon was with her. Heck she even understands why Alexander slept with his brother's girl. "You must be Amanda. Jaxon's.... wife" Lauren says, a hint of disappointment in her voice. Amanda clears her throat, feeling it suddenly go dry. "Yes. And you are the woman that cheated on him with his younger brother and had his baby". Antonio can't help but chuckle, which he tried to hide but failed. The redhead frowns at this but what can she do? This is all true, she did sleep with Alexander, knowing he was Jaxon's brother and had his baby. But that is in the past, Jaxon is now married with kids and he is over that. Or is he? "What makes you think I will help you"? Jaxon asks his ex. She faces him, with a small smile on her pretty face. The smile he always fell for, but unlike years ago, he does not reciprocate it. Instead, his face is void of any emotion. He looks angry and disgusted by her. Who knew? Jaxon hates his first love. To him, she is no more than the dirt he walks on. "Like I said, I can help you find Alexander. I know you have been looking for him" Lauren says to the man that once loved her like crazy. "We don't need your help. We will find Alexander ourselves. I am sure you saw the door. Use it" Jaxon says before walking off in the direction of the kitchen. Antonio follows him leaving the two women alone. Lauren realizes that convincing Jaxon to help her will not be easy, so she tries the next best thing to get what she desperately wants. "Amanda, please. I need to find my son. Who knows what Alexander is doing to him"? She cries. Being a mother herself, Amanda is bound to feel sorry for Lauren and so this is what the redhead is betting on. "You heard my husband. Leave" Amanda says to the woman. "Alexander is the devil but I do not think he will hurt your son. He is his son as well after all" Amanda tells her. There is no way Alexander would hurt his own spawn. Not after how he spoke about his son to Amanda. He loves that boy. "Please. You are a mother yourself. How would you feel knowing your child is with a crazy man out there and you do not know what he is doing to him"? Lauren now has tears streaming down her face. Her perfect make up being ruined. "I will not disagree with my husband. I am sorry" the latter states. If Jaxon is not happy helping Lauren then Amanda will not go against him. Not that there is much she can do anyway, unless if she asked Antonio. But no. Jaxon said no and that is what they are going with, she will not go behind her husband's back to help his ex. "I am begging you. I will do absolutely anything you want if you help me get my child back. Please" the woman begs one more time. She needs Amanda to say yes, that's the only way. Even if it means degrading herself, crying and begging another woman. Something she never thought she would do. Lauren Wilson does not beg. Unless it is highly beneficial for Her and in this case, it is. She needs this to happen, it is just unfortunate that in order for things to go her way, she needs her ex's wife. Who would have thought she would need to beg another woman to help her convince Jaxon of Something? He had always done anything for her and now another woman is experiencing that and not her. Amazing how things change. The two men come back, Jaxon's face with the same disgust and hate he had when he walked off. "Babe"? He calls to his wife. The woman turns around to look at her husband. "What do you want to do"? He asks her. This surprises Lauren, Jaxon had never been the type of man to 'ask' a woman's opinion. Amanda takes time to respond to him, another thing that shocks Lauren. The Jaxon she knows would have been upset at the lack of response from someone he asked a question. He has always been impatient but now? He is patiently waiting for her to respond, no matter how long she takes. "We have to find Alexander. Or else we will keep living with the fear of him coming for me again" Amanda tells her husband. This is news to Lauren, she did not know Alexander was after Amanda. All she knows is that Alexander is hiding because he had another fallout with his brother. But now she finds out that Amanda has a role in all of this. This peaks her interest but she cannot find out more until they agree to help her. Which depends on Amanda. For someone that is used to getting her way, this is quiet a blow to her ego. "I know baby" Jaxon says in a soft tone, kissing his wife's forehead gently. Even the way he looks at her, it is almost like he is looking at an Angel. But then, Amanda seems like an Angel, she is sweet, kind and calm. The opposite of Jaxon but she seems to know how to calm him, even without doing anything. "Fine. We'll help you find your kid, in turn, you tell us where your boyfriend is" Jaxon tells the woman, again looking at her coldly. Lauren sighs contently. Finally, she thinks. Everything is going well now. "Thank you" she says to the man in front of her. He snickers and looks at his wife with a smile. "Don't thank me, thank my wife, if it was not for Her, you would have either been out by now, or dead" he says leaving her shocked. He just threatened Her, and if he is still the same Jaxon she knew back then, the she knows he means it. "The last time I saw them was...." Lauren starts to say but Jaxon stops her. "Leave your number and address with security, we have things to do right now" he says disinterested at what she is saying. "What Jaxon is trying to say is you will get help, but on our time. Not yours. Ask for Jeff at the gate and give him your details. Close the door on your way out" Antonio says and Amanda feels embarrassed at how her husband and friend are talking to the woman. Should she even be feeling this embarrassed? "Oh alright. Thank you Amanda. I will see myself out" the clearly disappointed woman says before grabbing her purse and walking away. Amanda hugs her husband's waist, laying her head on his chest. She is comforting him, even though she does not know why. It is her duty as his wife to be his comfort when he needs it and right now, he needs it. "Maybe we shouldn't go to work"? Amanda asks him. "Yeah. Let's send the brats to their grandmother and stay in, just the two of us" She further adds and Antonio groans. They both turn to look at him and he walks off. "Here I was thinking you missed me but it's fine. I'll take my nephews and niece to their grandmother. I am sure they will appreciate my presence" he says going up the stairs. Now the parents get to be alone.
