“Hey.” Thom squealed a sound a little too close to pig-like for his comfort and spun on his heel to face Justin. “I was just coming over there,” Thom said. He swallowed and corrected. “Here. I was just coming over here.” He was standing on Justin’s front porch, but to the far end of it, trying to appear casual and as if it wasn’t weird to find your neighbour standing ten feet away from your front door and all but cowering in the corner.
