His heart sang me a song that I could listen to for a thousand years. His warmth was all I needed with no blankets to compare, his touch soft against my skin. My skin tingled as he moved his finger across my body. I snuggled even deeper into his chest, sleep just having said its goodbye leaving me with a wide smile. I took a breath in, him filling my nostrils and nothing else. I lay on his chest with our legs tangled, skin to skin, never having had such good sleep in a while. His arms tightened around my body, squeezing me in and having me sigh in contentment.
